Okay guys, alot of posts going on here are (to steal from Coconut Isle) the forum post equivalent of a twinkie. Yes, we encourage discussion in these threads but when all the europeans wake up in a few hours and see like, 4 splits to read that you guys posted over night they'll get annoyed.

And we don't like annoyed europeans. Thats exactly how the crimean started guys.

So, if three other people have answered someone's question - you don't need to answer it too. Slightly off topic discussion is fine, but before you post just ask yourself a question - is this contributing to the discussion? or just extending it?

EDIT: Someone call an ambulance! I killed the thread!

About the fifth maze--I thought that was the easiest. Maybe the visualization kicked in at that point or something. But the easiest way to figure out a path(without using a solution from someone else) is to look at the endpoints and the paths leading to them. Most of the tunnels are useless, because neither Gorix nor the robots change course at arrowless intersections--they follow their tunnel. So the only tunnels you need to look at are the ones that lead to the arrow intersections at the bottom, because those are the only ones that can lead up to the arrow intersections at the top. Follow them from the bottom to the top, then position the top arrows accordingly.
Another piece of advice for solving the mazes yourself: the arrows will change direction clockwise, ↑ to → to ↓ to ← (up to down to left to right, if the arrow characters don't work properly on other people's computers).

I don't have a lot of time, so I just read the answers, which is quite unlike me.Riiiight.
Someone might want to change the answer to the fifth maze with what tippey said, with the last arrow set to left the robot never reaches the door.

Hopefully I'll have more time to work on these things in the coming days, but you never know what your English teacher is going to throw at you. Thanks for the solutions, guys!

Another tip for finishing the mazes is to completely think them out before you run it. I found it very useful to run my mouse along the track I planned to take. I then dealt with the timing issues to avoid robots.

If I were writing this plot, I'd make it be really wild and crazy. For example, in real life when something gets started in one part of the world, other villains use this as a diversion and perfect opportunity to create a little chaos of their own. A villain would be thinking "Haha, now while everyone's attention is on Dr. Sloth and Kreludor, I'll be launching my own little surprise."

So I'd have the pirate Captain Dread or whatever his name is attack New Maraqua.

Then I'd have chiazilla emerge from the sea and attack Altador.

Then I'd have other random things happen all over neopia, forcing users to either stick with their original plan of going for the big boss and major threat of Sloth, or fighting their battles closer to home. Which side would you choose? Defend your home or the whole of Neopia? It would get interesting, I think.

Then I'd have some surprise ending such as this: Neopia is on the verge of being destroyed, which is not what Dr. Sloth ever intended. He wants minions and a planet of his own. So in order to capture the planet, he'd first have to save it. Which would be ironic, wouldn't it?
But then maybe when he achieves hero status he decides he actually like the praise he gets as a hero, and decides not to be a villain anymore. But he still would make the transmogrification potions and use grundos as a foot ottoman, because..well old habits are hard to break.

smudgeoffudge : That is a really cool idea. That would give battles for battlers defending Neopia and puzzles for those like me that aren't battlers with the Sloth side of things. That would be one of the funnest plots, but I doubt it would happen.

*Goes off to ponder the epicness of the idea*

Heh... I like your idea, Smudge. But I don't know if Dr. Sloth can pull off not being evil. I'm pretty sure evil runs in his veins. And in his socks. And in his hair gel.

I would like this plot to be better than the Lost Isle plot, though. Maybe it should even connect with the Lost Isle plot, since that one was so brief and truncated. I really hope that TNT is putting all their effort into the Return of Sloth - after all, this guy's the ORIGINAL plot-villian! :D

I would also be amused if in the midst of the plot TNT were to throw in a reference to the Pound being closed. I mean, after all these months I figure it must be the interference of those dastardly maintenance bots that's slowing down the Pound's maintenance, right?

Right. ;)

Under Coming Soon, the neopian news says "A Mysterious Voyage Continues"
Did they just forget to remove it, or is this for a future continuation of Lost Isle plot, or will this involve Dr Sloth.

Sloth must be sailing to the bahamas.

If that isn't mysterious, then I don't know what is.

Okay, can people please confirm and/or deny the use of DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT on the 5th maze?

I myself didn't do DLDL, but DLDR, because the first one wasn't going to work - but I left it in my solutions because a number of people kept telling me it was the solution.

Or perhaps there's a couple of different versions of the last maze?

ETA: Rachel got DLDR to work, and DLDD would've also worked, but DLDL didn't work for her.
ETA2: Oh, apparently DLDL *does* work, but it's extremely long winded - the little guy goes to the exit, back to the door, and *then* back to the exit - the other two will do it in only one trip. So all work, but I suggest maybe using the other two :)

"The four arrows in a straight line, point (left to right), LEFT, UP, DOWN, RIGHT.
The remaining arrow points RIGHT."

Are you sure this one is right? I've set it to this one, and my little man ends up walking around in circles.

Yes, I'm sure :) It worked for me.

Agreed with zorg though (and this is directed at others, too) - if you have a problem, post a screenshot as it's easier to see what's wrong.

I did the walkthrough on the first page of this thread. Worked like a charm for me.

>.< I wanted to tell you all that I FINISHED ALL THE MAZES BY MYSELF!!!! WOOOOOOOT!! And it only took me about thirty minutes to make them work...I guess being anal retenetive does that for ya...lol...

Anyways I know the page said "to be continued..." and that means GIVE YOUR BRAIN A BREAK but I couldn't stop and went to look around at the real Grundo's Cafe....but of course >.< nothing there >.< so then being anal retentive doesn't help all THAT much...

Anyways I also got excited when I remembered that I have 200 dubloons in my deposit box and I'm training my pets like crazy now!! Huzzah!!

Any advice on other ways to get ready for a BD plot? In the past I've tended to avoid them. So, yeah, how do you suggest I prepare??
