for wack-a-kass (to bad they changed the name i refuse!) I've never gotten that tree and i use to play the game all the time

The only tips are wait until the wind is at 9 then drop the kass and swing. If the wind speed doesnt go up drop that kass and try again! the other things I do are the same as mentioned before. make sure you hit the kass as soon as you can just knicking it. hold the spacebar until the peak of his climb up then let go. When he hits the ground hit the spacebar for extra bounces (if your good) and good luck.

(funny tho i've never had any problems unlocking the bat myself...)

I've tried over 100 times today (not including the drops from bad wind), and probably 50 times yesterday. I'm following all the hints, but I just can't get it over the 450 mark. I even tried looking it up on YouTube to watch someone else's timing... it's helped me get consistently over 400, but nowhere near 450 (except 2 flukes). I hate this game worse than KM2! At least that one had rhyme and reason to improving.

But thanks, everyone, for all the hints. I'll just keep on keeping on...

Bah. Does anyone have any tips for Destruct-o-Match? I've read all the guides on the my_first_little_pony page, and following their strategies exactly don't net me the points-per-level that they say you should get... Sometimes not even close within 200pts out of 350... :/ What I've been doing is:
1. Timer-boulder
2. All matches of arrows-boulder's color
3. Arrows-boulder
4. Color with most matches, ignoring ?-boulder, trying to get rid off all of that color
5. ?-boulder
6. Get all the new matches
7. Fire-boulder

Then if I got all the blocks in level 1 I type destroyboulders at the score screen (if I didn't, I start over), and continue from there. In the rounds with the x3-boulder, I put that between steps 4 and 5 above, sometimes after 5 if I think the dropped boulders will help my x3-combo.

The guides say I need around 1050 after level 2 which I rarely get, and 1450 after 3 which I never get. I can't get above 2012 total. HALP?

I actually do better by saving the destroyboulders cheat for a 130 or 145 point round; if you can make it through them, you get back to the easier rounds, so it actually nets you more points. I've actually found that if I score too high on the easier rounds, I end up getting to the 130 round without a x3 bonus boulder (which makes it almost impossible), so keep playing and don't quit just because your score isn't "high enough."

I try to focus on having as few boulders left at the end as possible. Sometimes that actually means using the fire boulder earlier. It also means that instead of focusing too much on one color, you should be setting things up so that things fall into place to be destroyed later.

And you definitely want to hook up that x3 boulder with as much as possible -- I often get rid of it before the arrows boulder (it just depends on what I need to link it up). The x3 boulder is my second priority in the early rounds (after the timer boulder), and my first priority once I make it to the first 145-point round.

I know these hints are a little vague, but I hope they help... I get better scores doing things my way than the guides' way -- and I hope you do, too! Now blow up some blocks!

I find in situations like these that you need to understand what you are doing and why. I personally need to know the 'whys' of something before I can get it done.

When you click on the Kass his wings tuck in - this makes him more aerodynamic. The more aerodymanic, the more he will travel up.

As soon as you hit the Kass, you keep his wings tucked in until the apex of his flight up, then you release to let his wings out, so he can glide (more glide, the more distance he will travel out).

As soon as he hits ground, you click to bring in his wings - as soon as he reaches the apex of the bounce, release so his wings come out.

Clicking speed isn't really the key - it is just clicking at the correct time.

Once I realised why I was clicking (not clicking just for the sake of it), I saw how I could adjust my technique.

I hope this helps. :)

Strategy-wise, that looks good. The thing that I would do, when I was practicing, is first off, I restarted if I didn't clear the first level, and if I didn't get at least *some* bonus for the second level. When I managed to get the 2734, I had cleared *5* levels in a row. (Still not sure how I managed that!). When I made the score for DD, I had cleared 3 levels (I think it was 1, 2, and 4) and gotten at least some bonus off of another.
That being said, about the only thing I can really suggest, is keep trying over and over again, until you clear the first two levels. That should get you over the 1050, and will really help your skill-level for later levels. Once you can reliably clear the first two levels, you'll have a lot less trouble with the later ones.

{scratches head} I'll see if I can come up with anything else that'll help out.

This part I get -- and can do pretty well.
As soon as he hits ground, you click to bring in his wings - as soon as he reaches the apex of the bounce, release so his wings come out.

This part is tricky for me -- the bounce is so quick, I try to click and let go at the appropriate times, but it's quicker than my eyes and hand can handle. It's really just a fluke when I get a good number of bounces.
Clicking speed isn't really the key - it is just clicking at the correct time.

That's true -- I should have said clicking accuracy, not speed (though speed was vital in KM2 and Itchy Invasion).
I hope this helps. :)

I hope it does, too. You've helped me realize where I need to focus my energies -- getting better at the bounces. Maybe I'll start whacking regardless of the wind, just to get some bounce practice in.

Thanks for the advice.

You could always use the space bar instead of clicking...not sure if that was mentioned, but it's how I play. I can't abide trying to click and hold. Something about the spacebar makes it easier.

I've never gotten the tree in Whack-A-Kass either and I've been playing it every day since it came out.

:D I beat AAA in Hasee Bounce. Not one of my fave games.

My scoring is AAA 9--Abi 7.

When I was trying for the avatar, I found that closing my eyes when the Kass is close to hitting the ground, and listening to the "bounce" sound effect improved my distance on those bounces. As soon as you hear the bounce, you hold down the mouse button/spacebar, and release as soon as the sound effect is done playing. Maybe it helps because I don't have to sort through all the visual information and just wait for an auditory go-ahead noise.

Oh I totally forgot that you can even use the mouse. Yes yes use the spacebar for wack-a-kass! (i do i think it makes you more accurate timing wise!)

I'm disappointed there is no wearable. Wouldn't a little floating faerie bubble be awesome?

Edit:
For those who need some help (like me) Avatar log has a collection of tips on their page for the faerie bubbles avatar.

Including the following codes:
stardust Gives you a Nova bubble.
faerieland Gives you a Rainbow bubble.
bubbles Turns all the bubbles on that level into the same color.
slumberberry Moves the grey descending bar (and your bubbles) back up to the top.

Kiko match is killing me. I've tried all the tips and I can't even get past the background colour changes. HELP!
Help for Bumble Beans, Volcano run II, and Crisis Courier would be great too!

Re: Daily Dare [Split 2]

Volcano Road took me ages- main tip is just to keep at it, and gradually you will notice you can get further. On your first life, try and get as far as you can, and avoid getting the bonus gems as much as possible (once you get 450 points worth of gems, there aren't any more and the game gets harder). My strategy was to concentrate just on getting to about 800 on distance, then working at getting the remaining gems. The only use of the extra lives is if you've already banked a good distance, you can then use the other two lives to concentrate on getting the gems.

Bumble beams is one of my easiest games- again the tip is just a bit of practice. If you drop the petpet exactly right, you get 10 points for it instead of five, so you only need a couple of levels to beat AAA, you don't even have to deal with the new types of platform. You need to balance it so that you drop it directly into the bucket, not at an angle.
My strategy is to aim to drop the petpets into every other bucket as they come along the conveyor. otherwise when you get to the end of the level, you might have to hold one petpet in the air for ages until an empty one comes along.

Crisis Courier is also quite straightforward once you know what's coming. Just keep playing it, everything is in the same place every time so gradually you get a sense of when to click, when to duck etc. You only need to do two levels to beat AAA.

Re: Daily Dare [Split 2]

I had trouble with Destruct-O-Match II as well.
The only thing that kept me going was that I'd scored over AAA's limit in the past.

A few tips:
1. The arrow block will clear all your blocks in that colour. Let's pretend the arrow block is green. Initially I went through and matched up all of the green blocks in pairs etc to get rid of them before I did the final arrow block. However with this method, you only get a small amount of points. If you can, get all of the green blocks connected to that arrow block. Then once you double-click on the arrow block, you'll get points for the connected blocks too - rather than getting no points for the green ones that'll vanish.

Make sure that you know where the blocks are going to vanish from, as they may screw up a possible pattern.

2. Don't get too stressed if your timer block doesn't match anything close before the time runs out - if it's in range of the fire block you can eliminate it with that.

3. Sometimes x3 isn't the best way to go. Obviously try and get as many blocks of the same colour connected to the x3 blocks but sometimes you'll get more points by connecting blocks of a different colour first.

4. Try to save the ? block until you've almost finished. Even better if there are two colours left as the ? block will introduce bricks of the remaining colours on the screen. So if you've got grey, green and red, the inserted blocks will be of the same colour. This can help when you've got for example a grey block between two blues - the incoming blocks may give you the grey you need to eliminate to join together the blues.

5. Try and use the cheat code "destroyboulders" when you have only one or two boulders left. If you have none left, don't click to continue - on the screen that shows your score, type in the code and your score will rise! If you don't get this on the first two tries, restart your game.

Good luck!
