Ackk I almost forgot today. But my geometry book mentioned AAA and then I remembered that I didn't do the daily dare!

Maths hurts my brain. So I took the Abigail route.

Quick question: is anyone besides myself, TOSO, and munduses still going for Ultimate? And who's still going for Megasuperb? Just curious...

I'm still on track for Megasuperb. I've taken to looking at the score, groaning, and then challenging AAA anyways. ;)

Same here. And yeah, that's pretty much my typical morning reaction. :P I'm still clicking away at Kiko Match (I'm surprised the button hasn't fallen off my mouse yet, sheesh).

Today I realized I hadn't sent any of my previous scores on KM so I sent one. I know it's a strange thing to be paranoid about, but I don't want TNT to be suspicious of my pre-DD score of 401 magically jumping 300+ points once I've finally beaten this one. *is weird* The lime green background levels are starting to really throw me, for some reason my brain has started processing them as yellow. Hope I can get it sometime during this upcoming long weekend though.

Anyone else Megasuperbing?

Edit: Welp, 677. That's my highest so far. Hopefully it'll come soon? XP

Yes, definitely! :) It takes some time but you'll get there.

Almost there, metalmario! Hopefully you'll get it in another day or 2. I'm Megasuperbing myself completely crazy, too. But I survived KM, so I know I can handle Kass-Basher and Itchy Invasion, too. At least I better -- otherwise it wasn't worth it for KM! (Well, I guess it gave me practice for the next DD.)

I'm in awe of those who can actually get the scores on the day they're released; I need more practice for some of these games.

Rubywings, your hint of closing my eyes on the bounces in KB (and using the spacebar) has helped -- I got 4 scores between 426 and 443 today -- now if I could just squeeze out those last 7 points.

I really should be playing Itchy Invasion every day as well, but I can only handle one game at a time. (Besides, I have 3 midterms and a paper to do in the next week.)

Since I'm too lazy to go refind the tips posts, check out this post from Siniri:

You can do it! Have you tried Pickles's hints (about halfway down here) -- especially the small screen, animations off, and matching the easy background colors first? I also posted my best times per round and my cut-off scores for various levels as the last post here. My only other hint is that if you're a kinesthetic learner (learn by doing), try naming each card as you overturn it -- just for the background color you're doing. It really helped me to cement what was where in my mind. Practice made me much faster at it. I mostly used colors, with the three blues being turquoise, blue, and mad. The multi-colored one was plaid. Just come up with your own names that work for you. The other thing is to just flip as fast as you can -- you might actually do worse for a while, but eventually your brain will adjust.

If you're feeling discouraged, try tracking your best time in each round -- I often saw improvements of 20-30 seconds in one round, which made me realize I really was getting better. Even the improvements of 2-3 seconds/round felt good. I know you'll succeed!

I'm still on target for megasuperb, at some point need to beat Kiko and Destruct-O-Match. I got quite close with DOM but I have to confess that I haven't played Kiko for a week and I have a feeling that it might beat me!

If not I've been taking a chance on the new rule and submitting a score that beats AA on the day of the challenge, so technically I'm in line for Uberriffic- according to the rules those scores are still counted even though you don't get the prize. Of course if I do beat AAA on every game and still get the Uberiffic prize I'll be pretty annoyed!

Today's wasn't too hard for me - I managed to beat AAA on my first try even though I hadn't played the game in ages. :)

AAA's prize is Space Vessel Action Pack

and according to the boards Abigail's prize is Asteroid Puffs Cereal

Thought I couldn't do Space Fungus but got it in one with this guide:

Thanks PPT - Another AAA complete. I really shouldn't have given up on itchy invasion - I've left some of the games undone because I want to see if I can get to the AAA before giving up. I've come close on Sophie's Stew but my mouse doesn't like me.

Bah - can't get past 260 on Sophie's Stew. The only thing keeping me going is that I managed to achieve a high score of 441 before.

Volcano Run II is also proving a problem, and despite naming things on Kiko Match II I still can't get higher than 200.

Edit: Crud crud crud! I accidentally hit AAA's button on KM. Now I HAVE to get it - but I can't score high :(

At least I got Crisis Courier easily enough. Thought it would be tough but it wasn't too bad.

Yep, tried 6-7 times by myself, then lost patience and used the PPT guide - 564 on first try
AAA 19/19!
