Also, I hate when the towers are so high that you can't judge where your current blocks are, so you guess, and then the bomb falls in an empty spot and a normal block falls on the tallest tower, which kills you. ;-;
{{huggles}} It's still an improvement of over 100 points. You keep doing that - improving by 100 points each time, that is - and you'll get there!
The longer the day goes on, the more I dread going home to having to do this.
How long does it take, anyways, to get 2000 points? 30 mins? An hour? I can't remember.

I can't believe it, I got it on my second try just now

It took about 50 minutes and my heart was pounding like mad the whole time

After 1700 or so I began to glimpse on the score every two seconds, and after 1900 I began to panic and put all the blocks in the wrong places and just mumbled "please please please oh please please please..." in my head

Good luck to everyone still trying. It isn't even near impossible, so don't give up! I didn't get the codes to work though, dunno why. Thankfully they aren't that crucial and it's quite indifferent whether you use them or not.

Blech, this game bores the pants off me. Up until today my highest score was about 500, and that's because I've never played long enough to actually die...lol I actually played until I died today and got over 1000. Seems like this game will be more of a test of patience than anything. Anyone know at approximately what level it was when they beat AAA's score?
I've been busy the last couple of days as well. So I still haven't beaten snowmuncher either. I know that one is just a matter of practice, seeing as I have trouble with consistantly beating the first level without losing a life. Too bad it's almost the end of march, I'm running out of time to practice in.

Finally got it! I got a 2102. I was on either level 14 or 15 when I got to 1990, no joke, and then I had finished the level so it took off like 300 points XD AHHHH I HATE THAT!!! So I just fiddled around in the next level, trying to make sure none of the towers got too high, watching my score slowly go up. After I hit 2000 I just kept playing making sure I never got too close to finishing the level. In the end I didn't really need to because one particular tower kept zipping up before I could get a bomb or rainbow.
Most nerve wracking terrible game ever, I just might like it if it didn't have those random blocks pop up from the ground.
Also, I either found a glitch or a terribly unfair trait of the game. One of the blocks "stuck" to the "ceiling" and had a blank spot under it, and I couldn't even put a bomb on it because it was in the same level as the "chosen" block. Grrr...

I hate gummy dice... It just gets so tedious I go "okay, I can't take it anymore" and hit end game after a few levels. Ugh.

I decided this game wasnt worth the headache. I could PROBABLY do it but i'd be here for an hour or so... tho i would rather have had the book then stupid flash cards.... oh well
AAA: 15 AB: 10 All on release day. good enough for me!

Nope, it was one of my favorites before I had to scale my Neopets game time waaaaay back due to my new job. Getting 2000 isn't hard, just really, really tedious. Someone already mentioned this tip, but it bears repeating: If you don't like this game, but are bound and determined to get AAA's prize for it, then click the "End Game" button the INSTANT your score reaches over 2000. You'll still have your high score, and you won't have to worry about falling back below 2000 before the next level, because you won't be playing it. Also, the default music grates on your nerves very quickly. Mute it and put on some that you like.
The end of the month is nearing, and fortunately, so far, they haven't trotted out the one game I hope I don't have to play this month. I dare not even speak its name lest I invoke Murphy's Law.

Gah! The first game I couldn't do, I had do ask my boyfriend to do it,
and he got it on the first try!
I'm not going anywhere near this game ever again
AAA 25/25

I confess, I confess! I was the one who kidnapped AAA and Abigail! (Of course, this confession may not hold up in a court of law due to the torture administered during questioning.) My eyes are killing me, the stupid codes aren't working, and I just had 7 -- count 'em -- 7 black squares pop up under a single purple square in about a minute, and didn't get a morph or bomb block to destroy them. I was at 1558, and almost onto the next round. How the heck are those codes supposed to work???
On a less whiny note, I understand your points about word games -- so I'll request a strategic game like Sutek's tomb for tomorrow -- just not a random, crappy game that has towers that you can't really see, horrible gray blocks that pop up from nowhere that can't be destroyed, and a mean scoring system that eats up all your points at the end of every round. (Okay, okay -- that last part was not less whiny.)

I like Gummy Dice. I actually got a Better Than You trophy for it. The main key is PATIENCE. Seriously, this game tests your patience more than any other on the site. Its tedious and doesn't pause. Knowing exactly WHERE your dice are located helps you to make them explode. Have 5 together - actually touching, no diagonals. Don't forget that you can move the dies your about to place by using the "s" key.
Just be patient, you can do it!

Ha! Whining works. I had a 4-high plane of mostly gray bricks at 1990 with 290/300 for the next level, so I knew I was going to lose a bunch of points, but it actually only fell to about 1830, so the next round, I just tried to stay alive until I got above 2000. I guess the gray blocks don't count against you since you can't get rid of them. I tried using the codes at the beginning of a game to get them to work, and then again towards the end of my last game, but they didn't work that time -- I think they might only work for the first few levels. At any rate, I didn't need them.
C'mon, bring it, AAA! I'm ready for your next challenge! But I hope you get fed gummy worms for dinner!

Can't get above level 9 - that's where they just keep adding and not waiting for you to drop the next dice right?
If I can't get it soon, this is going to turn into Attack of the Really Annoyed Kat.

Kat, my strategy was not really much of a strategy, but I tried in the higher levels to assign one quadrant to each of the four colors, but always use the exploding blocks and morph blocks on the tallest stack. Then I'd try not to grow the tallest stacks. It took me a while, but I finally got it. (Assigning each color to a quadrant eventually causes combos to happen, keeping the whole thing from reaching the top.) This strategy lets you move fast to keep up with the rabbit-breeding blocks. Hope you get it soon.

Whew! {wipes sweat off brow}
2002 is enough to beat 2000. And thus I made it...barely. I hated that game with a passion before I played it today, and I still hate it with a passion. Took me three tries to get it - and got extremely close every time. This of course, means I spent close to 2 1/2 hours on it. Ugh. I hate, hate hate long games.
The book has dropped to about 115kish, if anyone's following the price trends. {huggles the one copy that I have in my SDB.}

Ugh. Patience is highly overrated sometimes.

But you're entirely right in this case: it is about patience. I just don't know why this game makes me so impatient, and so many others don't. Probably because this game requires consistent patience for nearly an hour - as well as constant attention.
AND THERE'S NO PAUSE BUTTON!!!!!!!
Unless I somehow just missed it?Okay, I think that's probably the reason I hate this game so much. You can't even take a bathroom break without worrying about dying. Once you start, you better be ready to sit for a while!
{huggles to all still struggling}
25/25!

Yeah, no pause button. I remember last year there were a couple of us who had to answer the phone and died because of it. Grrr. This year I was listening to iTunes on shuffle, and it gave me one of Weird Al's polka songs. It's amusing, don't get me wrong, but when your heart's already going 100mph and you can't even click away from the screen to skip to another song... @_@
Who all's in for Megasuperb? And who still has some left to get? *wants to make an unofficial megasuperb club in this thread* :B
