Try playing with something animated on screen behind the game window. The DD page used to work when you had AAA and Abigail gaming furiously on it, but not any more. Good luck to everyone still trying btw :)

I've tried to play the blasted dungeon three times, and all three times it has locked up Firefox so badly that I had to kill the process manually. I've only managed to get past the Snowmuncher level once, and it's not because I died or got caught.

TNT has produced some shoddy games, but this one is a new low.

ETA: It just crashed Opera, too. What a piece of junk.

Wow this game is frustrating. I was hoping for a quick day but I guess that is not going to be the case. Goodbye, homework! Goodbye, boyfriend!

I can now reliably get all the way to the ice cream level, but I'm pretty horrible at it. I guess I'll just need to keep practicing I guess. I wish the game was split into parts though, so you could save your game after you beat the DoM level and just keep trying the ice cream... by the time I get there I get all my controls all mixed up in my head :(

Agreed, metalmario. I think my hand is shot today, so I don't think I'll get it done. I might try after I get home from helping with the youth group -- maybe a few-hour break will help. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow. I've tried taking a break before the ICM level, but it only helps occasionally.

I'm playing the game in FF (v.2.0.0.13), and it works fine for me. It doesn't seem to take up a lot of memory, and the lag's not nearly as bad as in ICM the game. Maybe try restarting it?

I just can't do it

I keep dying in the Ice cream level. LAst time I took a double hit at once, an ice cream to the head and body, while I accidently jumped instead of shielding. I wish they had given us 2 levels to chose from, easy and hard, for different prizes.

When do you think the cut off will be? I wonder if it would be better to send a bad score, than no score at all?

I hear you. :( But don't give up. I kept and kept and KEPT on dying in the ice cream level, but I've now managed to reach level 5 the last couple of times. Practice DOES help! You can do it. :) I use the mouse to pick tools, and in the ice cream level I click-click-click on the shield unless I need to use something else. That way, I only need to worry about ice creams that fly past when I need to do something else like spring (in which case I wait for them) or the ones that are going to hit my head. Most seem to be aimed at Abigail's body.

That said, there ARE two levels of difficulty. It's just that they're both really hard. :p Playing as AAA, you need to spring over large hills in Turmac Roll, he moves faster (I think) and encounters more obstacles, and Scram is faster. I was going to try for a win with AAA in case it gives a better daily prize, but now I'm concentrating on Abigail... it's hard enough with her. I seriously hope players won't be cheated out of the Spifftastic prize for accepting Roo's challenge but not winning the game...

EDIT: If you're getting splatted with ice cream while trying to roll through the sticky, try normal-jumping instead of bubbling. Even if you land in the middle of the sticky ice cream, it only slows you down for a moment and you can quickly jump out of it again while still having your shield or helmet up.

Ugh, the ICM challenge was simple. 30/30 there.

This Dungeon Dash thing....ugh. DO NOT WANT!

I guess I'm improving, I can now get through the ICM level of it with two lives left....but i keep forgetting about the darned spikes in level 5. Ah well, I'll hafta try for it again later tonight.

Does anyone know if we have to finish this today? Or do we get tomorrow too?

FINALLY beat that stupid game. 30/30 and bonus! Woohoo!

Re: Daily Dare [Split 4]

Still no reply for the bug report, and I'm getting nervous. I mean, I've beaten him (on Abigail, but that still counts) and if I get cheated out of my prizes due to some stupid score send glitch I am NOT going to be happy... I sent a screenie in with the report, and if it follows the other games I'm guessing my "high score" of 5000 should be on their system somewhere...

I just don't know if they'll get to it on time. Especially since I'm in Australia and won't have another crack at the game (I'm in class) before the end of the 30th.

I can't be bothered to keep trying to beat Roothless- it's so laggy and glitchy that it's driving me crazy! I've sent in a score of around 3500, will just see what kind of prize that gets me instead!

Man, I hope we don't have to do it today. I can't get past the ICM level, and I haven't got all evening to practice it because I have to actually leave the house in about an hour. ;)

Does anybody know -- should I send at least one of my halfway-through (3300-ish) scores, just to register that I tried? I saw some people saying that they sent once and couldn't send any further scores, or maybe that only the first send counts toward the challenge, or something like that?? But if today is the only day to do it, do I at some point just have to decide that I won't be beating this game and sending in an imperfect score? o_O

Edited to add: Meh, forget it, it's a moot point. I even tried logging into a really old and sloooow machine where each level took over 5 minutes to play but I still can't get past the ICM level. I sent 3700-something and am giving up for today. If it's still up tomorrow, maybe I'll frustrate myself some more. :P

Use the helmet for the Kougras, and the Shield for the Skeiths, and use the Bubble to get over the spikes :)
