Another advert I that annoys me is this THINK! Always wear a seat belt UK Advert because the son is forced into his mother due to the force of the crash and the same force forced him back down on his seat since he is wearing a seatbelt. Yet the advert says "After crushing her to death he sat back down."

The advert annoys me by claiming that the son sat back down to his own accord and not due to the force of the crash.

No it doesn't. It's meant to shock you. The statement "he sat back down" represents an everyday, ordinary action. It's meant to contrast the fact that he's just killed his mother. Sitting down is no big deal, not wearing a seat belt "is no big deal" but crushing your mother to death, is.

Oh? Oh! I get it now! *headdesk*

ill join you Helena

Most of those THINK! Adverts just scare the hell out of me. *shivers*

I thought the ad was supposed to contrast a "cold-blooded killer" description with a complete accident.

I think this is a Kleenex advert:

Someone blows their nose and we hear this really weird high pitched phrase which I can never understand =p It's so catchy but annoying.

Wires down
RED ALERT!
Don't go near
YOU'LL GET HURT!
Get some help
Better rush!
And do not
Do not
Do not touch!

Well, this is not so much annoying as "ever since my young childhood, I have had a Pavlovian response to sing along to this whenever it comes on, and my sister and I used to sing this together when I was about three." It is a Baltimore Gas and Electric public service announcement about hanging power lines.

However, I do not watch television, so I rarely see it anymore.

If you live in the Baltimore region and do not remember this or the Jai Medical Systems commercial, you clearly do not watch television.

Well, I don't find this ad annoying but quite a few people in HK do because the ad is too long and completely irrelevant to the new housing villa it is trying to advertise, The Beverly Hills.
The ad stars Natalie Glebova and I personally find the music quite good. Here is the ad. (Sorry for my notorious recording skills!)

I am ever grateful that I don't live where most of you guys do, and as such don't have to see your ads.

There hasn't been any bad ones on lately, although I suppose I've been watching DVDs more than TV the past couple of weeks...

Gone, forever.
