Apparantly Vonde Cayle is the Lost Desert's best scorer on average, but personally, Derbi's outscoring him 2:1. Maybe it's because I play left to right.

Does anyone have any tips or guides for the darigan and faerie ball? I tried the animated guide that was posted, but I can't get the faerie ball and I've only managed to get the darigan ball in a few times. I know I must be doing something wrong, but maybe a different guide will help me?

Hey guys! Been a while since I was last active here ^^; Just wanted to post some advice- One of the fastest characters this year is the Hissi on Darigan Citadel. If your team loses or you do not have a team yet, I highly suggest that you take advantage of this character! (Yes, this year they gave them all different speeds) You can tell he is fast by the way he slithers quickly past the other players. Seriously! Also, Darigan probably has the highest chance of winning this year IMO.
Rather than individuals having different abilities, I am pretty certain, it is the 'position' that has the different abilities.
Positions are:
Goalkeeper Left Forward Right Forward Left Defender Right Defender
From my observations, the Right Defender on the Shenkuu Team (today's matchup) has the same style as yesterdays Right Defender on the Terror Mountain Team - both have really angry looking faces and walk backwards alot.

Darigan - Aim as you would for the normal/fire yooyu but instead of it going in the corner you are aiming for, it should go to the opposite corner. EDIT: I should say : Aim almost the same as the normal, but instead of a big angle, you need to stand more sideways - (it's a little hard to explain, but take another look at the animated guide and see if you can pick the difference between the angles).
Faerie - this yooyu curves so kick from the middle of the goal line and let it curve in behind the goalie. ANOTHER EDIT: Don't go too far and kick on the white line because the Goalie will stop it, kick a little before you reach the line.
Good Luck Fructy (good to see you)

Altador won all three games! Since I don't think that happened during any of the games last year, maybe it's a good omen. (Since after our poor performance last year, probably the only people left on the team are a small loyal core like me.)
Edit: Anyone know where I can get an Altador banner?

The faerie ball used to infuriate me but is now one of my favourites. I find it easier in 2-2 formation. Grab the ball as soon as the game starts and run right down the middle of the field towards the goal with your cursor a tiny bit below the goalie. When you are about 2cm away from the goalie, shoot. If it's all lined up right, the ball should curve right around the goalie (underneath him) and into the goal. If the goalie saves, you should at least get some idea of which way you need to adjust your aim. As with everything in this game, practice makes perfect.
The Darigan ball is a hard one to judge and get the hang of and really the best advice here is practice your butt off. If you are playing left to right, imagine a line running southeast and ending at the bottom right corner of the pitch. Then imagine another line running northeast and ending in the top corner of the goal. You need to run the first line (the southeast one) with the ball and click to shoot it when you cross the second line. Beyond this, I have found the only way to learn it is to do it and let your hand 'remember' what a successful shoot feels like.
If this doesn't help, reply and tell me where the ball ends up when you try to shoot, and I'll see if I can make a visual guide

Woo! Go Rooligans! I guess getting a good start last night was a good idea! (I put in 100 wins, avg 9.27 goals per game, 6 SS's, and 15 MSN's). I figure I'd best make up for the days that I won't be able to play much (being the matron of honor and all) now, while I can. I'm still going to shoot for 2000 wins again this year.
For those that are aiming to hit 2000 points (and top rank), it averages out to about 59 points per day, if anyone's interested.

Check the first post, there should be a link to Pixa's supporter sets there.

does anyone know how the points are going to be given out? i am going to try to get 600 wins 12000 goals and about 120 plays for Make Some Noise and 60 for Slushie Slinger. think that will get me top prize?
Last year, points were given out based on what your rank points were. For rank points, I believe it was figured that: 1 Yooyu ball win = 1 point 1 Yooyu ball draw = 1/2 pt, 2 SlushieSlinger games = 1pt 12 MakeSomeNoise games = 1pt. This seems to be correct, still, as I, like Daze, achieved the 50-point Rank 1 with 48 YYB wins, 3 SS games, and 15MSN. Because of this, I still think what JellyNeo has is wrong.
Last year, I believe you had to have over 2,000 points in order to get the top prize. I'd scored 2100 points, and had enough for the top prize and then a little.
Edit: Here's the shields/ranks with points needed from last year:

Huh. Um, I think either SS or MSN counts more than we think it does, because I was Level 1 with 89 YYB, 12 SS, and 50 MSN, but the 90th YYB win pushed me into Level 2.
