Re: Altador Cup III (2008) - Split III
Ah well, 20 games isn't so bad. Good thing I found out before like a 100-game streak or something. I gotta say it did kill my interest in Yooyuball for while. I don't think I'm going to play today. If I can even half live up to my plan, I'll have plenty of points to spend.
I'm not on my computer anyway. This wouldn't have happened on my computer.

I'm noticing that if I score say 10-1 or 6-1 or whatever it is giving me all my ten points or three points. It happened twice today. Once I scored something like 6-1 and it gave me all my six then I scored later a 10-1 and it gave me all my ten.

Re: Altador Cup III (2008) - Split III
I have tried the one cup for 5pts at slushie slinger. I played enough for level 7 but I am still on level 6. I played about 40 extra games and an additional 5 YYB. Still no level 7. Has anyone verified that the 5pt method works for a credit in SS? If not what is the min postable score for the credit to count towards the trophie plaque.

The difference only counts toward your team's score. If you got 6-1, then your stats give you 6 goals, but you only scored 5 points for your team.

Thanks for the info. I am 75% sure goals do count!
I will take the stats provided by Pickles' husband (can I call him Mr Pickles?) and Veritable:
I have assumed the lower point value for Mr P, the higher one increases the point ratio further. And YYB draws are counted as half game played (even if you count them and losses as wins, the results don't change much)
Now if the goals were not counted, I do not think Mr Pickles would have 1.58 times points as Veritable, because the ratio of the games played never reaches 1.58! Only thing which is balancing is the goals ratio of 2.03. So, the goals must have counted.

Code: Select all
YYG YYW SS MSN Points
Mr Pickles 12813 1500 105 375 20000
Veritable 6303 964.5 139 300 12625
Ratios 2.03 1.55 0.75 1.25 1.58

I think my computer is ready to explode after playing so much YYB. It's having obnoxious fits of loud whirring every so often and has come pretty close to overheating.
YES! An excuse to get a new computer!

it doesnt work i did the same thing, the lowest you can get for SS to count is 250.

My notebook's been overheating on YYB too, reaching 60-62°C (~140°F)! Strangely, MSN is worse... time for a new graphics card
Glad for Shenkuu's wins. Got my first 13-0 today; game's improving. Still hating the ice & Darigan yooyus. Those are eeeeeevil.
And how exactly does a jubjub play YYB? How does it be a goalie? It's a ball of fur with feet, it has no hands! *head explodes*

Why, it blocks shots with its feet, of course!

In addition, it can use its... um, body.
Also? Mind. Bullets.
Re: Altador Cup III (2008) - Split III
No one will be impressed much by this or even care, because everyone's been scoring 10+ points a game for some time now, but whatever. I finally, FINALLY scored my first 8-0 win tonight!
On a much more positive note, I can't wait to see the outcome of today's Krawk Island vs. Haunted Woods matchup, since both of them have been doing really well so far. Wish I could play more in order to help KI's success, but it's late and my wrist hurts. =\ Good luck to you, fellow KI players!

OMG you got to be kidding me. i just found out NOW that if you press the space bar it skips those clips. it is soooo much faster. wow i am pritty smurf off. i almost have 1000 wins and i am finding this out now!!!!
Re: Altador Cup III (2008) - Split III
I only just realised I was playing the game on the large setting, it really is a lot easier on the small one!
Yay to Shenkuu winning another YYB, pity it wasn't another clean sweep though. Kreludor should be a tough match, they drew against Darigan whereas Darigan beat us in all three games, so we'll have to work hard against them.

Actually, we drew with them in all three games too.
