Everyone made their way to the Room of Requirement pleased at the possible identifiation of another baddie. Spirits were soaring thanks to yesterday's thrilling results at execution, but still somewhat dampered by the terribly untimely loss of Dyl.
fzun nearly tripped over May in her eagerness to get towards the veil where Rissa was waiting, happily looking forward to seeing if Typhoon really had that much luck in the past few days.
"Well it looks like you've all pretty much come to an agreement to execute Rissa," said Averly, her eyes analyzing the crowd's facial expressions. "Pickles, why don't you do the honors?"
Pickles nodded at Averly and pulled out her wand, giving Rissa an apologetic look. Thinking back to the other day in which Averly loooked angry enough to cast a bat-boogey hex at her for knocking down the pulley mechanism, Pickles aimed extra cautiously, hoping not to knock it down again.
Unfortunately, it looked like she over-compensated a little because as the spell hit Rissa, it was at such a trajectory to knock a chair in first and that moved Rissa out of the way of falling into the veil. Apparently the execution was not to be successful that day.
Susannahmio groaned and covered her head with her hands. "We'll never be done with this!"

Nearly everyone was tired, and somewhat upset about having lost Dyl still.
May sat in the Great Hall, unable to sleep. Dyl's untimely death had hit her particularly hard. She finished downing her mug, and looked around, seeing one mug further down the table that had been untouched. She reached for it, but some invisible barrier was keeping her from being able to touch it. After several tries, the cup fell over, burning the paper it spilled onto. She stared dully at the ashes. "Two nights in a row, someone tries to poison me? How rude." Fortunately, it cured her need to sit up and stare into space, so she headed to sleep.
The next morning, everyone gawked at the ashes left behind by the poisoned paper, and looked as Typhoon walked in.
"I'm back, guys!" he announced cheerfully, looking as if he had rested well. "Byakuya San is off on the birdie trip."
