Treebeard! No! My favourite character is already dead
Sun Nov 02, 2008 4:36 pm
Poor pardona, died early two games in a row. I liked Treebeard in the books too. There's no way I can see Treebeard being evil. Must have been either a neutral or innocent role.
Vote: Christopherbecause he voted for me last round
Location: the shireEdit: In response to pardona over in dead land. If you aren't res banned, which it appears you aren't from the player list, there is a chance someone could res you at any point throughout the game. So keep following the game and see what happens.

Hmm, both Twizz and Christopher have interesting theories. Christopher's theory makes sense if you follow the actual story line of the books, where Sauron is dead at the beginning of the book. Twizz's idea is just really neat from a host's point of view.
Let's see what we have for attacks:
Night 1:
Oliphants - Attack (Men from the South?)
Lava - Attack (Sauron's)
Whip of fire - Attack (Balrog from Moria?)
Tipsy - Disabling role usage
Terrified - Disabling SP usage
Night 2:
Ball of fire - Attack
Large creature - Attack
Tipsy - Disabling role usage
Terrified - Disabling SP usage
I'm wondering if the "large creature" from Night 2 was another Oliphant or something different. And would the ball of fire be from the same person who produced the whip of fire on Night 1?
For now, I will vote: 3lla and Ange and I will move to: the Shire.

Has anyone played a game with a person sending list from beyond the grave? How did it work? How does one defeat them defeat them?

Hm, on a reread my previous post sounded rude XD; sorry Twiz, I didn't mean that I think your theory is impossible. Just that... well, it'd be an awesome twist, but I really hope it's not like that because I wouldn't know how to handle it.

Could it maybe be a zombie role?
Or perhaps a team whose spokesperson died?
*shrug*

Vote: Hansybecause he said the following back on page 9:
hansy wrote:Maybe Anvil's death is bad in the end, the innocent team would work harder if they felt in danger.
which just strikes me as a little strange that he would use the phrase "the innocent team" rather than "we all" or something like that, as if he is not part of the "the innocent team".
Hansy; feel free to defend yourself, but as no other leads have been posted on the thread so far, we need to try and find some or "the innocent team" are much less likely to win!

Move to Mordor
because Rachel's logic makes a bit of sense, and it's better than a no-vote. And Mordor because no one else is there yet...
