Thanks for the tips on Kou-Jong. Finally beat it!

I've been taking on Abigal because I'm lazy and like to get by with the minimum.
I'm waiting for Destruct-o-Match to come up. I will whoop some butt on it.

Todays dare is a bit different, it is Habitarium.

If you already play and are level 5 or higher, it is an automatic win...Challenge AAA (or Abi) and then click Play (as usual). Nothing shows up in the game but when you go back to the Prize page, your prizes are there. :)

Itchy Invasion is available for NON-NC Mall countries.

My habitarium has not loaded since January 26th, and TNT won't reset it for me, so when I saw today's challenge, I was near-panicking. Then I read on the boards that it doesn't even have to load for you to get the prizes. Sure enough, I clicked "back" after it tried to load, and there they were (after refreshing, of course). Phew.

I know there are well over 100 people who are locked out; most of them seem to be higher levels. I really hope no one is locked out at less than 5, because that'd be sad.

I gotta say that Kou-Jong is crazy hard. Anyone got any good tips for beating the 800 score point? I just can't get past 670 or so.

My months of playing the Windows version of the game are paying off. 8) One thing I always try to do is focus on making whatever formation you have at least two across. That way you can select those tiles with ease, focusing on other locations that are 3+ across. In the end though, it's all about luck, due to the random placement of tiles. Still, there is always a solution to each game...or at least I think that's the case.

Nova Defender may be the end of me beating AAA in every game for a year and a half during his semi-annual challenges (I got GUS last year and have always creamed AAA in the GMC). Nova Defender was the first game I failed to beat AAA in during the NGC, and TNT didn't lower his score at all from that. Due to lag, I can only get up to ~400,000 right now. Since it's not a double dare, I suppose I'll play this game a little every day and see if I can beat AAA by the end, but I'm not very hopeful. I know all the tricks, but the lag always causes me to die. (Unless there's an extra-life code I don't know about?)

Gah. 700k? I may be in the same boat as you, Siniri.

Not that being in a boat with Siniri would be bad, per se. In fact, that might be rather interesting. Of course, with my luck lately it would be the Barf Boat during a Tsunami, and neither one of us would enjoy that one bit. Nope. Not at all.

 Never played that game Barf Boat. Sounds like a lot of fun.

I haven't gotten a chance to play Daily Dare. I'm on Day 6 and finished the Habitarium challenge. School and family emergencies to deal with.

Hey guys! :)

I'm in the same boat as Siniri and Blue. Just feel like 700k is ridiculous for that game. I know some people have gotten it, but for two years in a row this game will have broken my streak with AAA. I find it very frustrating. I think serious gamers shouldn't have to kill themselves to get one game. haha... normally I hate it when people complain like I am right now! If anyone has any tips, I'd be thrilled to hear them. I've watched all the youtube videos available and still have trouble getting past level 3 and 4 on hard... *sigh*

barf boat. mfw.
please note that mfw is meant in the "my face when" way. not the other way.

I couldn't even get it to LOAD. Something about Express Install not being available for my platform.
I didn't care. lol

New staff tourney is up. We've got #3 and # -- wait a second, Señor Malo wasn't in the tourney last year? What tourney was he in then? Anyway, we've got #3 and a currently unknown (but not unknowable) vs. #15 (i.e. Lawyer-who-challenged-Abi-but-couldn't-even-beat-her-most-days-except-he-did-eke-out-two-AAA-victories-last-year-Bot) and a complete (?) unknown. Think I'll go with the Team Your Team Could Smell Like.

I was tired when I started the nova one, and misread 700k as 70k. I'm pretty much doomed at this point. The closest I've gotten is 500k.

500k is pretty darned good. I can't even break 300. The last couple of days, my score has actually been getting worse!

The hardest part about the Nova one, I think, is the protect-your-friend level. Other than that, it's all shooty-dodgy.

I haven't even gotten the CHANCE to go to DD recently. Saturday is the day something tragic is supposed to happen, if something else doesn't happen during the week. If the tragic thing happens, I will probably grieve for a few days, then finish DD if I have time with school. This year's DD doesn't look too promising for me.
