Agreed. I thought I was only 1 day behind Daze. Then again, receiving 19k on a daily basis is ok with me. That's nearly 100k every 5 days.

Last night, Day 9: matched 2, 17k. Seriously moved my time back, as I didn't collect until nearly 9pm my time. Ah well.

After switching to the morning, I've been able to get it at the same time every day so far. One morning, I woke up about 8 seconds before the timer went off, but I'm usually up well before then.

11k today (with 3 matches). No idea which day I'm on.

You are on day 6, according to the chart at JN. It also notes that days 10 thru 25 have identical payouts.

Using the chart, if you make it through the entire 25 days without missing a day, the least amount you will collect is 445,375NP and the max is 522,250NP. Using a bias towards 80% 2 matches, 15% 3 matches and 5% bad luck bonus, then the typical payout for the 25 days is 466,131NP. Not too shabby. What it will do to the Neopian economy is a different story.

That's roughly the same amount as someone who has 53,122,000 nps in their bank gets by collecting interest every day for a year (not accounting for the fact that just collecting interest every day will actually increase that number, but yeah).

I'm figuring that while this seems like a nice daily (and I'm not complaining - it's helped my bank account stay more stable as at the moment, I've been spending quite a bit going for avatars, working on my gallery, and spinning that stupid wheel of extravagance), in the long run, I can see that the prices of some things are going to go through the roof. Not like they haven't already. But yeah. Just comparing going rates on some items in JN's trading history...you can see that some things have spiked quite a bit already.

...except I forgot to go until super late last night (much later than I'm usually up), so I think today might be a "long" day, and I start again tomorrow morning early.
