Awesome!
Also, I appreciate that they went about posting it multiple places. It's in the news, on the neoboards, and Jade even posted on Herdy's "Please remove quest completion requirement" board that they'd updated it.
One thing I DID learn today by scouring the boards is that there'a staff member that's been manually assigning tickets to the right people (even over the weekend - with the glitched quests) on the help chat. I didn't realize this was a thing, but it's apparently been going on for a while?!
Now...to watch the prices of the items plummet! (And watch - all of us who have been putting in wishes will suddenly get our wishes granted
) I'm just sorry for those who got one of the bad quests and paid for it just in case. (Although, Mr. P is kinda ambivalent because he hadn't actually gotten on Neo for a while and discovered that a stock he had around 15k shares of a stock that was at 129 when he checked, so there was that...)
Honestly, with the number of different quest scripts there are for this event, TJNT really did put a lot of effort in to make it more interesting. Not that there was anything wrong with it the plain old way, but they did certainly spice it up a bit. I think if there hadn't been glitches, and price gouging, it would've been better received in general. Live and learn on the rarity of the items, I guess?
On another positive side (
I'm feeling positive this evening - today started off rough and has gotten better) - it did bring the community together to help each other. I mean, yes, some people were clearly gouging (there will always be those), but helping each other find items/gifting when possible, finding ways of getting the items, etc. I'm not sure I would've thought to check for battledome drops or the wishing well if others on the neoboards hadn't suggested it first - and were willing to suggest it to help out, when they could've kept it to themselves and enjoyed the price gouging.
