Pretty much nothing is making me smile today. I thought having cracked ribs was bad enough...but...having a cold with a minor cough and lots of snot when you have cracked ribs is SO MUCH WORSE. It was bad yesterday, but today it's been miserable. Okay. /Endrant.

Ouch, Pickles! I hope you feel better soon. One thing they warned me when I had a cracked rib (only one) was to make sure I practiced deep breathing daily, because a common side effect was pneumonia from altering one's breathing pattern to avoid pain. I hope you continue to heal and the pain gets better.

(P.S. Be careful when wearing garments that might put excessive pressure on the injury. I nearly screamed when I put on a certain sports bra that landed on the cracked rib in the wrong way.)
