We survived yesterday. Hair got done, we got there on time, boys behaved, she got through all her dances just fine, they didn't drop her on her lift, and we had ice cream on the way home. And then when we got home she proceeded to have the biggest post-performance adrenaline meltdown because one of the songs at the ice cream parlor reminded her of the "goodbye" song from the most recent theater performance and she was determined she'd NEVER see her friends again and that even if she did, two of them wouldn't be friends anymore because one of them was teasing the other about a girl liking him and then she'd have to pick between the two and....yeah. I certainly didn't expect teenager-level drama this soon from her (but I probably should've). She's okay this morning. Now, I can relax some.
