My cat recently had six kittens. I was holding her a little while ack today, and when I put her down their was blood on my top, should I be worried about the fact that my cat is bleeding in no visible area that shows she is hurt?

How long ago did she have the kittens?
Also, the fact that she had kittens suggests that she is fertile, she may just be menstruating.

It's possible that the kittens are biting her as their teeth grow in - I forget at what age cats develop their first batch of teeth.

If it's not a lot of blood, and she's never shown signs of hemophelia, there's no need to worry.

EDIT: Nevermind. Kittens begin teething between one and two-weeks postpartum, so yeah...that's probably it. It might be kitten blood, not just mama cat.

If the kittens are teething they're most likely biting while nursing. It may bleed and causes no harm to the kittens if they swallow some blood.
or they're just irriating her.

That might be the problem, keep an eye to see if it continures, also check the moms nipples, if you haven't already.

is kittens eeth between one and two weeks, then its notth. the re' ven wee old, e reso young. i think she had them on the third of august......and i cheked the nipples.......my other cat didn't have this problem with herno ready-to-b-weaned kittens,but i read about tha in my cat bok thig.......I couldn't find anything in their to help me out wth this problem tough.

no, i gt really emabrs about stuff lik this, the only reason iam tellin you about this is because you can't see my face. it is like- telling my parents about anything like this....

Embarrased? Why?

I, that is myself, as me, not referring to anybody else, would find it rather embarrasing if it was happening to me (which I have managed to avoid so far... =P), but your cat? If you get embarrased, and I'm not saying this will happen, your cat could be in danger if it's serious, which I doubt it is.

I recommend you tell your parents. It's nothing to get worried about, and hey, think about it this way, if you don't tell them, you could be putting your cat in danger.

Besides, won't your parents find the blood on your top anyway?

no, they wn't find it, it looks like burger sauce, and yes I would be eve more embarrased is it was happening to me, my stepdad doesn't like talking about the cats, and my mum is always busy.

That seems like an incredibly foolish reason not to tell your parents. If there is something wrong with your cat, you should tell them so they can get her checked out to make sure she's okay. It's part of being a responsible pet owner.

I looked it up in my cat book! It turned out that sapphier was right and my cat was just menstruating.

I an pretty sure it is what I said it was. On her first batch of kittnes something like this happened, and my mum said what it was. It has stopped now, and I have cheaked her over millions of times and found nothing.

She's right, you know. If they're too busy to help look after your pets, why have the pets at all.
