Numbering the symbols below the tablet as they appeared, and using A for the 10th and B for the 11th, I can confirm these orders

4 of each, 11 symbols: 12343567189AB6A5
6 of each, 9 symbols: 1234567158938283
8 of each, 11 symbols: 12314567289A2B24

Each of the symbols was used at least once, and the order in which they appeared is definitely the order in which they were used.

(Sometimes it's nice to have 3 Neopians at home so we can compare notes!)

My first 5 symbols were in the same order as offered below the tablet. I had just put the symbols in, one after another , until all the spaces were filled and then clicked to see what I had. I then adjusted each one accordingly.

My first four symbols on my tablet were also the first four in the line given. This explains why my first try got so many right, I clicked them all up in order and repeated x)

Yes, Im behind, but I was away for a bit and just catching up and all, so I have a question.

I just visited my jelly blob trap today and got my third Useless Crystal. Then, a mere 10 minutes ago, that stupid pink mutant Grundo stole it from me. Is it necessary that I have that crystal? I already know the colors it reflects, and what to do with everything, but will those steps work if the crystal isnt in my inventory?

Ive already tried to go back to the trap and re-get the crystal with no luck. Is there any other way to get it, maybe?

And grr. I keep getting logged out of PPT for some reason x_x

Yes it does matter that you have the crystal. Each crystal stacks on top of the previous one to make the next one.
Sorry.

Right, I'm stuck. I'm on the third part of the third crystal but it doesn't work o_O
Tablet to show where the spaces are
Right i'm on the paw print part...
List so you can see where I have to go
Right so my problem is that I've read them in the sequence Y - B - R - Y - B - Y - R - B - Y and it didn't work. I did it again and it didn't work. Am I missing something?

To be able to tell if you're doing it right we'd also need to see your 3 catalogues.

Edit: Sorry, I now see that your other link are copies from your catalogue. Are you absolutely certain you are going to the sections that you show? It's sometimes very easy to read a scroll in the wrong section.

I have a map to tell me where to go, I mean I've done it twice and I'm totally sure I did it right last time but it still didn't work :(

After you click on the scroll rack are you carefully reading the title that appears above the scrolls? Please double-check that the rack is actually in the section you should be reading. In some sections, and The Catacombs is one of them, it's very easy to think you're in one section (e.g. Sand) when you've accidentally wandered into another. It's hard to be certain until you've opened the rack.
Edit: Note that you've already completed two combinations and they don't repeat. So for example if your first symbol (Ahn) was a R-B-Y you don't need to try that combination for the paw (Fer) you're doing now. And for your last symbol you'll only have one combination to try.

Does anyone know if it's now safe to put the crystal in the sdb? I'm helping someone else out at out at the moment and don't want to risk anything.

I don't think it is. I heard several ppl on this forum get it lost in their sdb. The scroll is safe there, but not the crystals.

It is safe now! I do that with all of them. And when it's time to get the next crystal you dont have to move it from your SDB.

Edit:
Shoelace - IanB is right, I've experienced this. You think your in one section but when you click on the scroll rack it's for another area.
