Lol. So they are giving away the new backgrounds on the thrift shoppe and I snagged a faerie one yesterday afternoon and sold it for 32k, this morning they are down to 14. Oh how I love impatient people.

Do RE's never happen in the Second Hand Shoppe? I sit there for a good half hour at a time refreshing and never get one...I've never gotten one there.

The only thing I managed to get there in 15 minutes of refreshing was dung. I have a new, fast computer and a pretty fast DSL connection; I use Firefox + Adblock Plus. But I still can't even get the dung half the time! I couldn't even get one potato sack, much less any of the nicer things. What's the trick to grabbing something? I tried clicking continuously where an item should appear as the page loaded, but that didn't help any. I also tried clicking as soon as anything appeared before registering what it even was (hence the 15 dungs now in my shop). What else can I try?

There's no more to it than what you're doing. Refreshing should take no more than a single second and the graphics should appear immediately. It just sounds like really bad luck, or maybe your connection isn't as fast as you thought. If you are on really early in the Neo-morning, that helps too. 5 AM NST I have managed to grab something, click the back button, and grab something else - like a baby wocky puppet AND a sketch background. I will click on an item fast, 3 or 4 times, then wait and see if I got it. Keep trying - it's worth it.

I'm making more NP on the thrift shoppe than I do with selling plot prizes!

I'm sort of sad they have real locations now. Real locations = more competition.

I got sick of it really quickly...guess that's why I can never restock. A week ago i was refreshing like mad the whole day now I haven't been to that shop for 3 days already lol They need to add some new stuff to it... and yes the competition's getting BIG!

Yes, they definitely do. There's been so many new items out, but none have been added to the bots list.
I did manage to snag some of the Halloween masks from other users, though, the other day. That was kinda cool.
