Re: Trudy's Surprise (Slot Machine)! [Lucky 7 Split]
Day 13: 19k
Today's high is 51, but it's only 37 right now. We'll hit 61 Sunday, and should have three nights with lows in the 40s-50s before it gets cold again (though we should get rain those days, too -- but only a 50-60% chance, which is sad because we really need it. Excluding the three days of Helene that brought us a month+ of rain that just washed out our creeks and didn't really soak in, we've barely had any this year. We're in a drought, and even the days that have had a decent amount forecasted have barely spit on us). The waterfall at a local park had a tiny trickle in the middle a month ago, and I suspect it could be completely dry now.

Re: Trudy's Surprise (Slot Machine)! [Lucky 7 Split]
Day 25, Matched 2, 100k
No Matches: 17 (251,000)
Match 2: 6 (177,750)
Match 3: 2 (25,000)
Match 4: 0 (0)
Gift Boxes: 1
BLB: Day 10
Total: 453,750
Rounds w/no BLB: 2
Low on Record: 450,875
High on Record: 463,750
I hate matches on the last day. Plus, it was a n on the lower side round. Ah, well. Time to start again...
We're really having our first "mini winter." Down to the 40s, highs in the 60s. Several days in a row. Of course, by Monday, the high will be 80 again, so...
I would be quite content if we could just stay in the 60s to low 70's. That would be beautiful!

Not great about your lack of rain.

Day 9, Matched 2, 17k... Total: 76,250
That makes for a (not so) fun day, Pickles. I have seen a specialist annually for a very long time and get the "wide dilatation." Some years, I can see OK afterwards, but other years, I cannot see well for hours. Initially, I drove myself to the appointments... until that year when I really couldn't see well leaving the office. And, of course, I absolutely had to be somewhere to pick someone up... I have never driven myself to one of these appointments since.

Day 2, Matched 0, 2.5k
I can see long distance relatively fine (although I 100% guarantee that it will be bright and sunny out whatever day I do my appointment, because the light hurts, and sure enough, yesterday was clear skies and sunny, today was cloudy). It's just anything in small font is a giant blur for hours afterwards, and anything bright realllly hurts (so I end up wearing my sunglasses around inside). Also, Christmas trees look REALLY trippy. I've learned that in the last couple of years.

Ugh. I managed to catch norovirus from friends. Just in time for that doctor's appointment I've been waiting three months for. Still going to go with a vial of hand sanitizer and will try to touch nothing. Hoping I'm past the worst of it now and don't actually get sick at the appointment.
