To me it sounds as when the Captain says "If more Neopians were like you... perhaps we could..." as he is trying to say: "If more Neopians were honorable and nice like you, perhaps we could reveal our hidden country to Neopia."

That would be nice:P
Sounds like a plan! I think they should dock in Altador next, find that Hoban had jumped ship to save our plot prizes and deliver them to King Altador and now that his shipmates have found him, they can return to their oriental themed world, and as we were all so helpful they'll let us join them in their homeland and give us additional, lovely oriental themed prizes!
we are nice enough right? This being nice makes me feel like its christmas

But Hoban has one hand on the wheel, one hand clenched in a fist, and he is looking at the clenched fist with what seems to be a smirk on his face. Also it seems to me his eyes are glowing blue. Significant??? Maybe!
Hoban is holding the compass, he is the navigator so he is responsible for sailing them out of the storm.
I wondered about the look on his face, but that just might be because Linae thinks that he "hexed" the ship and that is how she remembered him looking.
if you can see the storm why would you need a compas. I think he/she was not paying attention

I am not into sailing so I don't know the logistics, but I am sure you still need a compass to make sure you do not sail into land or at least to make sure you are sailing in the right direction.
If you had to sail North to get out of the storm, then the compass would help you.

So totally agree...basically, we are not really asking much questions. At least, I would think that we should really be asking each crew member is 'did you know who got Hoban so upset and what got him so upset?'
Also I find it kind of wierd that Orrin (Nimmo) can be so sure that Hoban fell off the ship, afterall he is locked in the storeroom, now how could he have heard or seen anything so clearly?....when you look out to the dark from a room that has lights, you shouldn't be able to identify so clearly what is outside in the dark....and also it would be hard enough for him to try to keep his balance so as not to fall over and hurt himself, I honestly doubt that he has the time to 'sightseeing' from the window!

Maybe Hoban hid on the ship so they would put in at Krawk Island instead of Mystery Island?
Has anyone found anything plot related (outside of the comics)? I feel like we're being given clues (the chef avatar, the Kou Jong tile) but I can't find anything.
I dunno but why is the neocam been stuck on that same image since noonish; what is that lady's T-shirt mean (JOSS WHEDON is my master now)? Did they break the cam? Is that a clue? Who is Joss Whedon?

Don't know about it being a clue, but Joss Whedon is a writer and producer - he has produced/written episodes of Buffy, Angel and was E.Producer on Firefly.
You can get those Joss Whedon t-shirts from ThinkGeek, I saw them the other day... and I rather want one! I imagine they just put it up because it was a cool shirt Or it could be a reference to Hoban's name I suppose (Hoban -> Wash -> Firefly -> Joss Whedon)
