still why port railing ?

Because Orrin is our only technical "eyewitness" and viewed from the porthole, and in the comic (despite one seeming to be an artist's error) all portholes are located on the port side of the ship. I posted screeniesearlier but you can check the first two chapters of the comic yourself.

Yah! I picked Bonju at Port too, although I just guessed about the port. Bonju doesn't say much - avoiding talking - and seems to think pretty highly of himself (although that wouldn't make him a murderer); like you articulated, there are other reasons to suspect him as well. I didn't want to put as much time into this as you did, Anjuna. I hope you get a good prize.

But here's what captain said (not in the comic though)

Orrin does not know the time, nor is he sure through which portal he witnessed the fall

and as you said theres no porthole in this too

I know, but comparing the only other (3) pictures we have of the ship, I assumed it was an artist's error (or one could imagine Hoban was so delerious looking back it was not in his memory to notice anything other than the direction the ship was heading (to KI) and he off the port side).

Again, all in my interpretation. I cannot see any other reason for the other *consistencies* and the one minor drawing error, in my opinion.

EDIT: To KI, at that time. Yes I am tired of this.

I said Kentari pretty much because at the time the Captain shouts "All hands on deck" it shows Anshu and Linae still below deck, while in all the other accounts, they're both already on deck by that time. I couldn't really think of anything else.

I based mine on how there were very little details of Kentari... and I really just disliked him in general.

It seems we all have extensive and pretty good reasons for our guesses and it will be neat to see who pulls it off.

I guessed Anshu because his story is inconsistent with three other stories: the Captain's (marginally), Bonshu's (explicitly) and Linae's (explicitly). Along with that he didn't address his arguement with Hoban until prompted in the interview. Linae would have been my second choice probably.

Guessed six because of the numbers of people claiming to have seen or heard of him at or around five. While I understand the premise of an argument prompting the push, I think if it had occurred that close to the time everyone saw him, someone would have witnessed it other than the perpetrator.

Guessed Aftdeck. This was a toughy because I do agree there are only windows on the port side of the ship. They are also, of course, at the fore and aft of the ship on the port side...From a number of the pictures it looked to me like Orrin was guesturing off the aftdeck, which is also where the last picture of Linae looking at him has him, steering the ship. This one was really just a hunch.

Guessed I22 because rightly or wrongly, it was the 6th x on the grid and I think he went over at 6. Mayhap too obvious? Yeah. But what the heck?

Uhh sorry for this question but what are we even supposed to do? How do we know who did it and all that stuff because I haven't been up to date with this plot.

Let us not forget, too, that Chef Bonju already has one mark on his criminal record: Pyromaniac, blowing up everything we put into that cooking pot of his thus far. Tsk tsk tsk.
