Yep, very same thing happened to me, all of a sudden I had a baby pet out of nowhere, shes been there for 6 months now...

Ive no idea how or where she came from, as I thought when Boochi appeared as an RE that we got him as a BD challenger, which we didnt.

so yes, very odd.... but yes species change... wow..

tee-hee... i dont like lenny's i think its a change for the better

It was probably a glitch or RE b/c i randomly found a nerkid without an RE.

just laying in my inventory...

Same for me. I didn't get an RE or Boochi as a challenger or anything. I just randomly had a baby pet. I wasn't upset or anything because it was my lab pet, if it had been one of my other pets I would have been really upset.

It is possible that a species change comes from one of those new REs, but I think we would have heard more about it by now, others would have gotten it. Unless it was extremely rare? o_O
