Somthing has bugged me about that stat, I think I just figured it out. Shouldn't the numbers be reversed? Aren't there more boxes than contents? Given the number of different contents, they shoulbe be rarer than the boxes.

All item generators all like that. If the items that came out were worth more than the item itself then everyone could just buy the generator and open it, and sell the item that came out, taking little or no effort on their part, with no risk because the prizes are worth more than the item itself.
And in fact, there are more contents than boxes because everybody opens them which makes the quantity of gift boxes go down and the quantity of prizes shoot up.
