I completely disagree. No offence but in my opinion this post is rubbish. My aunt has three kids, two girls, aged six and three, and a baby boy. We were waiting to go in for my cousin's confirmation and the baby did a squirty poo right up to his neck. My aunt had no choice. Would you rather leave the baby in distress? She changed him and didn't get an article about it. Anyone who thinks that this is inappropriate should try having a baby that poos in its nappy outside a public place and starts bawling... see what they would do.
Don't judge. There's a possibility that the article neglected to mention that the store didn't actually have a public toilet. I know the Victoria's Secret store here doesn't (not that I actually go in that place, I just know it doesn't). So don't jump to conclusions that she just randomly started changing the baby on the floor, it's possible she didn't have any choice.
You know what? I'm sick of people jumping down my throat just for voicing my own opinion. It disgusts me how mothers will do this in public places. If it needs changing quickly then take it to the corner of the room and do it discreetly. Not where there are loads of people and are most likely gawping at the mother and the baby.

It's not that I think everyone is out to get me. It's not. It's the fact that whatever opinion I have, someone jumps down my throat or tries to tell me that my opinion is nothing but rubbish, in the most tactless and un-subtle way ever. It does actually hurt my feelings and makes me feel like I should just keep my mouth well and truly shut.

Oh. Yeah. I used the word rubbish. I've taken an Edinburgh habit from my brother and I use it a lot, both IRL and on the internet. I'm not trying to tell you that your opinion is rubbish, because it's not. I just think, in this issue, there wasn't much that Britney (or my aunt, for that matter) could do, if her child was in distress.
I've seen much worse. One time I was at the mall hanging out with a few of my friends, and we were eating in the food court, when we noticed there was a couple changing a baby's diaper on a table that people EAT OFF OF. Now, THAT'S gross. I feel bad for the people who ate there afterwards.
What's even worse is that there was a bathroom right there in the food court, too. It probably would've taken them less than a minute to walk over the the bathroom and change the baby's diaper.
Ginger, please please PLEASE don't turn this into another 'everyone hates me' thread that has to be locked. It's REALLY annoying.
Back on topic:
I think it's inappropriate for a woman to change or breastfeed her child in plain sight. Even if it's an emergency, she should have at least gone and found somewhere that was more sheltered, out of courtesy to everyone who was shopping there. To me, changing a baby is a personal thing, and should not be done out in the open. I have the same opinion about breastfeeding; some things, although perfectly natural, should not be done in public.

Ginger -- This isn't the time nor the place for all your woes about people getting on your case or jumping down your throat, and you've been warned previously about this. As it is, there has been nothing wrong in other people expressing their opinions about what others are saying (that's the whole point of a forum if I recall) and there are ways to settle this privately instead of turning everyone's attention to what you think is happening to you.

See. Now this is the kind of action people should be arrested for. At least La Spears had a nice floor/rug to collect all the germs that could have been spread. We need far fewer Typhoid Mary-s like that in the world. I hope that person at least got some sort of stomach bug for doing that disgusting action.

First off, I think it's a bit disgusting. Yes, it had to be done, but nobody likes to see that kind of stuff. If there wasn't a bathroom around she should have at least gone into a corner.
However- this is just my opinion on anyone. People should just leave the poor girl alone. Yes, this wasn't the best thing she could have done, but had it been anyone else they wouldn't have been jumped on like that. People just need to understand that celebrities are still human. They deserve the same privacy that the rest of us have.
