3 cups flour 2 cups sugar 6-8 tablespoons cocoa 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoon vinegar 2 teaspoon vanilla 2 cup cold water
Mix the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients. Stir until smooth. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-35 minutes. Makes two layers of a two-layer 9-inch or 8-inch round cake, or one small sheet cake. When cool, frost it. You can also make cupcakes from this recipe without altering the ingredients or how they're mixed.
For such a simple cake, they are freakin' amazing!!

Mm, I love sticking oregano and basil in tomato sauces If it's for pasta, a dash of cinammon or pimento (if you have some) and some brown sugar really mellows out the bitterness of the tomato... yummo!

The absolute best soft chocolate chip cookies you have ever had, guaranteed!!!
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
