Abandoning, Adopting, and Transferring

I have a Skunk Ixi called Mezuis equipped with a zapped Red Dua already in the pound (Didn't realise the adopt part was down).

It would be nice seeing it go to a nice PPT'er.

Anyway, I had a point to posting here. I wondered if the pound being down could be due to the customisation as we have no idea if with dressed pets their clothes will travel with them.

Then there is the further fact that they're using flash for pet lookups. I really do wonder what's going on in there.

I abandonned my lab-pet because I thought if we could abandon that we could also adopt. I was wrong. Luckily I had put him in the neolodge so he'll be fed for three weeks. I wonder if the pets in the pound are being fed.

Selling Neopets is against the rules, you could get frozen for that. Not a good idea.

No, that's if it's real money. For example selling my pet for £30.
I'll just put the fee in the pound, every pet has a price in the pound and I'll put mine as that, and I know nobody wants to pay, but it's basically my only hope as I got bankrupt today.

Uh, no, it includes selling your pets for NP as well. Unless you want to be frozen, you can't charge a "fee" of any sort. If you are truly broke, this wouldn't be the best time to abandon a pet then, I'd think. The following is taken from the first paragraph of Terms and Conditions:

As a guest you do not own the accounts, activities, items, Neopoints, characters, locations, faeries, games and pets on the site; they are for you to play with while on the site. Except as permitted by the functionality of this site, you can't sell them (for money or Neopoints), give them to anyone, trade them for anything (including Neopoints), or pretend you made them. This means that you cannot try to make money off the Neopoints or virtual items in your account or even sell the time it took you to collect such items and Neopoints. If we find someone selling Neopoints or items, we will freeze every account controlled by that user and every account of the user who purchased such Neopoints or items.

Um you can't set the price in the pound yourself. That's set automatically based on the level of the pet, and you don't get that money, the adopter pays it and it just goes poof.

And selling neopets for neopoints IS against the rules, just so ya know.

I know this isn't really the right thread for this, but I don't understand why you think getting rid of your pet and starting over will help you at all. If you're broke right now, how would training a pet from scratch help that? Np comes and goes, everyone has been really broke at one point. Just takes a little effort to get back. The thing about the game is that in theory anyone can start from scratch and be a millionaire in short while.
