I feel for you! I gave up too. Can't even submit a bug report, since it gives no spot to put in my email on the form it's showing for me, even though I *know* it should be there. When I click submit, it says I must include a valid email address. I even went through the form tabbing to see if there were any hidden boxes, etc. So even if they resolve the ones that submitted reports, mine won't be one of them.
The page I submitted my bug report from didn't seem to require an email address (or it used the one configured on my account, maybe). I reached it through the "Contact Us" link in the Neo footer. Here's the URL: http://www.neopets.com/s/report_form.ph ... oint_id=24

I gave the main Daily Dare URL as the link: http://www.neopets.com/games/aaa/daily_dare.phtml and selected "All Flash/Shockwave Games" from the dropdown, since it has neither a "Dungeon Dash" option nor an "Other" option.

Here's the text of my report:

"The final Daily Dare game, Dungeon Dash, consistently freezes in (and locks up) most browsers. I have encountered this in Firefox and Opera, and have read reports of the same problem in Safari. This blocks Apple and Linux users from completing the event."

Ahahahahaha. It's taken me all day, but I finally finished the dang game. Finally!
metalmario, I noticed the same thing. If I had a brick or cone about to hit me when it started me at the next level, I had to mash the helmet/shield key until it registered. Not fun.

But I WAS mashing  But it was literally like 2 pixels away from me, so maybe that was it... still not fair.

Do we know if the dungeon dash game will be avaliable tomorrow too?

I'm sad about the daily dare. I was in the running for "beat abigail on day of release" and then i had to go away for easter and i missed ONE day and did it the next day, but that means i'm not in the running for that prize anymore. I think it's annoying that for 28 of the 29 days i had it, but someone could have logged on over the weekend and done all of abigails scores and they will get the same prize as me :(

I finally managed to beat dungeon dash (with abigail but I don't care since I was already down to spifftastic anyway since I also missed the dare for one day (totally forgot about it until it was too late)). :D I got really lucky and didn't lose any lives at all on the last level! Which was really surprising since the couple of other times I managed to get to the last level I never got too far. And it didn't matter for me that I had sent more than one score, it still changed to won after I finished the game and sent the score.

That's where I went too, but after I type it all in, I get this:

OOPS

BTW, dungeon dash IS on the list of games there. (Right above hot dog hero)

OH WHAT THE HELL. THAT WAS NOT FAIR. I reached the end of the ICM level, with my shield up because a cone was right at my body, and then when it said "press any key to continue," so I pressed "n" (like, presspresspresspress...) and the shield was GONE when the new level started, and that same stupid cone that I was shielding against killed me. SO. NOT. FAIR.

I hate this game, it has way too many bugs. I've gotten to level 5 only 3 times (4 if the above scenario counts). I'm going to bed, I really really really really hope they give us tomorrow to play it too. I'm megasuperb so hopefully it won't hurt me. :(
I think I'm gonna call it a night too. I have only managed to get to SS 4 times, and while I do pretty good there, I never get past the stupid ICM stage with more than one life left, so there is no margin for error. I am really hoping that we get tomorrow to try again, because I am crashing hard right now...been up since 6am (3am NST I think) and I am just weary of this game.

Well, maybe once more...

EDIT: I think I have now been glitch-slapped. I hit Send Score by mistake just now and it told me "Can't Send Score In Offline Mode" I thought that was messed up, cause if I had managed to beat the game, my score wouldn't have counted. So I closed that window and went back and opened another, and now I am plagued by glitches. That's the last straw. I am calling it a nite, and will try again tomorrow if TNT allows it. G'nite all.

Dungeon Dash has a memory leak- I'm running it in firefox in linux (Ubuntu) and it maxes out both my CPU's- not even 3d games do that. :x

On other news:
today's game is meepit vs feepit
AAA: 2000 points
Image
meepti vs feepit background
Abi: 200 points
Image
busted meepit plushie *cough*recolored dung meepit plushie*cough*

so apparently the DD is still on, take note everyone running for a prize!

edit: my final tally: 13 AAA/19 Abi

MvF is unbelievably laggy today, I think I'll wait for a bit and see if it calms down. Not worried about beating 2000 on this one, very easy game although pretty repetitive.

I'm not bothering about Dungeon Dash- too much effort. I'm just wondering though if not beating it at all will mean I don't get any daily dare prize, or if it's a separate challenge.

ETA Congrats to those who have now finished Ultimate- I am in complete awe at your gaming abilities and staying power!
