New Neopets Site Format

...and the Secret Lab was just updated today. Not a fan. Sure, it works (but needs 2 more mouse clicks to zap your desired pet), but you cannot actually see your pet when you choose it by name on the new drop-down list. This feels like an error waiting to happen.

Secret Lab was updated (although once you pic your pet, it should show up, and you can now "zap XXXX again" for any extra zaps you have - the one and only change that I actually like), Shops were updated (and they're a nightmare, especially since the update broke most of the user custom coding, plus you can't just click and hit enter to buy anymore, you have to hit space and it's WAY slower than it was), and they updated the battledome to put a giant neon sign pointing to the SECRET Ninja school. Oh, and the TP now shows you how much you've "earned" off the TP in the last 24 hours, so you can see how close to your max you are. And supposedly removes instant buy from people who are maxed out.
This has been a bad week for me, both IRL and on Neo. I hate the new mobile design, and every time they convert something else, some part of me dies a little inside. The mobile design is just...not Neo. And it's just...bad. All of it. Bad.

New. Battledome..? *wanders over to the Battledome* Oh. Dear.

I suppose it could be worse, but its not as bad as other new areas. I preferred the "same location click twice" to get to the opponents page. Not so much now.

There's a Secret Ninja School? Woah!.. Who knew?

The "zap again" button is very nice. I like it. Overall net clicks have been reduced.

The Fruit Machine was just updated to the new format. Not a big change, really, but it looked weird as it condensed/removed the Spin button.

They also updated the event inbox page....when we still get ghost notifications. Yay.

And...the day they updated the Fruit Machine, they broke Food Club in a bad way. It was really borked for two days. Now it's running later and later, which is nothing really new, as that was an issue before they reset it back to the "right" time...but it's been drifting by TEN MINUTES EACH DAY for the last couple days. So...hopefully whatever they messed up they'll fix.

SDB now takes almost a full minute to load for me if I don't go to my codestones link.

TNT, stop breaking things that weren't broken. All of this conversion is just making the site more and more difficult to actually interact with on SO many different levels. Bleh.
