Is my math right? Last time, the Thieves won with the average battler earning the equivalent number of points as beating the hardest opponents on the hardest difficulty level less than 25 times.

So as long as you battle to get your daily loot at least twice, yo won't be bringing the faction average down, and if you do it all four days, you'll come close to doubling the team average.

Somehow that actually makes me feel better about how many battles I usually average. Obviously, you're only making up for 1-2 people doing the minimum (or not having a strong pet), but at least you're pulling your weight.

That's about right. It was somewhere between 25 and 26 times against the hardest.

I put in my battles on Friday and will attempt to add to it some today if I can (but company, so...) and I know my kiddos have done a lot (granted, though, they can't beat any of the particularly hard opponents yet, but they definitely did a LOT of battles). Here's hoping we actually get a win this time!

ETA: Woot! 400 battles was worth it! We won! I took the bank boon...before I collected interest!

Wahoo! A Winner! I also went with the bank boon... after I collected interest!

Next round, I will be in favor of whichever faction has the Refreshed Quest boon. I need to do some stats boosting ;)

Order, Sway, and Awakened

I'm not sure what y'all will be doing, but I've already joined Order. Yes, I know, I'm bucking the normal standard of coming to a decision and bandwagoning together, but...my younger two have Awakened, Sway and Seekers now, so they are joining Order (one already has, as he's finished school already today). My oldest plans to as well, as as he has a fortune cookie to use (and wants to help them get the avvie and site theme). Since they really want Order to win, I'm throwing my weight behind them and helping out the most I can. Who knows, maybe, if we win, I'll have some luck with the Faerie Caverns? :roflol:

I know Order has not won in MONTHS. It will be a tough weekend for Order, as there will be a LOT of people putting in the minimum and hoping for an easy win.

What the heck. I'll join the Order, too. Just to support the bandwagon and a bunch 'o Gherkins.

Just joined Order. Let's get those themes! Maybe the free loaders will join Sway for bank boon and avoid Order because they've been losing so much...

Off to an early (for me) start this round. 10 so far against the Duchess.

I got 23 against the Twins. It's nice to know it doesn't really matter which other faction you battle.

Definitely. I refuse to battle against The Thieves... mostly just because ;)

I got in a fair amount of battling, as did the kiddos. Here's hoping for an Order win!

BLP was bouncing off the walls excited this morning, as he used his like, 30 seconds that the computer lets him on before timing him out to check it! I'll give him time later, so he can get on and crack a cookie later this evening and tackle some boosting training. The younger two are excited, too, but haven't finished school, so haven't been able to collect their new avvies/site themes. For that matter, *I'm* excited. Order hasn't won in a LONG time. Guess all my extra battles were worth it - I've definitely not done THAT many for AGES (If ever? Maybe the first few rounds? Maybe?).

Here's the actual results (from Neo_truths):
wizards 23185746 score with 1578 players (933 few battles)
sway 31366509 score with 2341 players (1344 few battles)
awakened 3784851 score with 455 players (263 few battles)

Top wizard players: 12480, 12384, 12000, 12000, 6500, 5999, 5000, 2000, 1503
Top sway players: 12000, 9479, 5001, 5000, 4652, 4651, 4500, 4499, 4130, 4087, 4000, 3573, 2575, 2569, 2500, 2400, 2001, 2000, 1799, 1678, 1588
Top awakened players: 6667, 1750, 1530, 729
Okay, so holy cow, some other Order members definitely did WAY more battling than I did...but I made the list this time!

Heads up - Carto has been glitchy for some people because of the one server that is out of sync for time. To make sure you have no issues, it's recommended waiting 30 seconds or so before clicking on the next path/collect prize so that the "behind" server doesn't think you're trying to do a previous path, etc.

Also, reminder: if you're going to use a FQFC, open it late in the day - then you'll get an "extra" day out of it as it's an exact number of hours and you can get a 10th quest even though it's only technically good for 9 days.

I'm also going with Carto.

Day 1: RRR - 927 NP
Day 2: LLL - 800 NP (really? meh.)
Day 3: RLR - 981 NP (okay, seriously? Just...wow.)
Day 4: RRR - 844 NP (okay, really?????? I don't think I've EVER had a week THIS bad!)
Day 5: RLL - 1926 NP (Finally, a decent amount!)
Day 6: LRL - 2494 NP (one more day for it to make up for those first awful four days)
Day 7: LLL - 1628 NP

Wahoo! I battled a lot more than usual, thanks to my phone ;)

FQFC for me. I will open a cookie later.

ETA... It's later. Cracked open a Cookie ;)

Day 1: Soup Faerie (no refresh) - Small Roasted Chestnut Smoothie - SDB - MyPet gained 2 strength points and 2 levels! Sweet!
Day 2: Soup Faerie no refresh!) - Small Blueberry Tomato Smoothie - SDB! - MyPet gained 2 defense points and 2 hit points! Nice.
Day 3: Soup Faerie (no refresh) - Small Roasted Chestnut Smoothie - 825 - MyPet gained 2 movement points and 2 hit points! also nice.
... what is happening? Always Soup? I guess I am very happy with this! Fyora might be better, but this is working well for me ;)

Day 4: Dark... Refresh... Grey - Cobrall - 1.75k --> Fire faerie - +3 Strength! 8) Nice.
Day 5: Dark... Refresh... Soup - Small Asparrot Smoothie - 1.5k - MyPet gained 2 movement points and 2 hit points! ok... More strength, please.
Day 6: Dark... Refresh... Air - Pumpkin Lip Gloss - 1k - +3 Speed. More strength please.
Day 7: Grey - Mallard - 975 -> Earth... She has chosen to grow MyPet's stats in the Battledome! (Appears to be strength :D )

Boon is over... but, I still have 3 or 4 days left on my cookie...

Day 8: Light - The Stuff Collectable Card - 2.5k - MyPet's level has increased (+2)
Day 9: Dark - Cross-Stitch Skeith - 1k - MyPet's health has increased (+3)

...Overall a good boon!

I flashed through my dailies so fast today, I totally forgot to look at the cues.

The last day was the first time I followed P's advice to wait 30 seconds for each step, and it got me safely to the treasure, which I immediately clicked on. And then I got this message:
You stumble in the darkness and trip over a rock, stubbing your toe. You jump up and down on one foot, muttering your grievances at the cave before retreating for the day.
It turns out you need to wait on claiming the treasure, too. Since there was only one choice for that one, I have no idea how it registered as the "wrong" choice. (I just realize P said you had to wait on that step, too, but since it's been a week since I read her recommendation, I didn't remember the details and assumed I was safe.)
