oh, slighty glitchy, where exactly are my petpets? oh and the site was a bit yoyoish, and i'm sure it wasn't ment, but the first time in 3 weeks i have time to spend on neopets, the site doesn't work??! gah. murphys law at work

I've pretty much quit playing, mainly due to trying to get some things done IRL, but makes me glad I haven't been on neo much with all these glitch reports. I just collect my bank interest and do the dailies. As others have reported, my petpets & abilities are all gone, and my zafara has been 'checking out' for over a day. I guess TNT doesn't care much if they loose some loyal players as long as they mass market & continue to get new sign ups.

Hey, I managed to finish get through most of act 1 (nq2) during the weekend -- the servers were up about half the time for me (plus that little server selection trick works out nicely). It's been more and more stable lately (hey, they kept up a 9-hours uptime for me, and it's still going).

It's a bit of a pity with the battledome, but hey, if they do make some improvements, it's good.


Are you suggesting for them to take the entire site down for a week or two just because they're upgrading the battledome? Isn't that a bit of an overkill?

as for me i got through act 1 of neoquest, and even got to be beaten a half dozen times by the leximp (stupid chias, cant talk to none of em)

Hmmm... it appears everything is not fixed. For those of you who still have stuff messing, I would just send in a bug report.

Is mercy in your dictionary? Honestly,do you think life is a bowl of cherries and nothing ever goes wrong? Do you think you could do better? TNT does not pretend to run a website,they do. And they do it good. I agree they shouldnt promise things they cant do,say they fix things when they have not,etc,but for the most part they try. Maybe not their hardest in some cases,but still..

And this Evil Neopets Team thing really ticks me off.

You know what though? When you're running a multi-million dollar business with your income riding on your users' satisfaction, trying isn't good enough. They aren't trying to explain things to people, they're glancing over them, as if no one will notice that everything is still screwed up. I'm getting tired of the ENT thing, too, but only because it does no good to say it behind their backs.

The point I'm trying to make here, is that they're not trying. If they were trying, they'd put up a message, "We're having quite a few problems due to moving databases around. Items in your inventory or equipped items may go missing for a week or more, please do not send in a bug report unless your items aren't returned in one week. We're working hard to fix things." Instead of, "Yeah, we had problems, everythings back to normal now! coughcoughdon'tlookatyourquickrefnothingstherecoughcough
