the bleh avatar WAS an ADAM ONLY avatar until a little while ago they made it available to the public by popular demand

"Bleh" originally was exclusively Borovan's (Neopets co-founder Adam Powell's) avatar, though he used to tell people that it could be got by doing something ridiculous like have several thousand bottles of sand in your SDB. When we got saddled with the top-of-the-page banner (or when the banner grew massively larger, I forget which), however, Adam felt so bad & disgusted that he made it available to everyone.

The "Bleh" avatar that was released to the public isn't animated though, like Adams is.
So his is still exclusive. ...in a way. O.o;

I had thought it came from a foreign accent, like Ricky Ricardo's "Lucy, you got some splinin' to do!"

Or just from people mishearing. There are some folks who say (and write), for example, "for all intensive purposes" instead of "for all intents and purposes," or "worth your wild" instead of "worth your while."

I was wondering where 'all your base are belong to us' came from!! I can't tell you how many times I've heard it in the anime community. o.o

Incidentally, a Neopets programmer has confirmed on Neocolours that the "TNT" avatar is a Neopets-only avatar to use on the accounts they use to Neomail users... it's a scam-prevention thing.

It's a cool avatar, though. :-)

I guess that to stop a million chat boards, TNT made it that if they neomail you you'll see the avatar but if you just look up theneopetsteam you won't see it... that's pretty useful because thousands of people probably look up TNT a day to try and neomail them
