First off, for the Master of Cats, I was among the many that said 'think outside the box' as well as many other hackneyed cliches.
Second off, I was just thinking of some more non-canon material that if anyone is willing to expand upon or shoot down, they can. I hope this stays on topic enough.
I was just realizing there must have been a planet-wide dark age some point in the past. The cause is unknown, I'll bet on some combination of Razul and the Darkest Faerie. This can also bring in the whole Altador world. After many long years of conflict, the great powers of the world (Sakhmet, Qasala, Darigan, Meridell, Brightvale and Altador [add if you think there is more I forgot]) either were on the verge of collapse (ie., most of the powers) or destroyed (ie., Qasala). They could have isolated themselves from the rest of Neopia. We all know all that these were lost civilizations. They even seemed to be lost from each other. Some sort of dark age or other massive upheaval could have caused the isolation and loss of knowledge.
Another part of my dark age idea are three different cultural influences/hegemons. The Meridell set of worlds is definitely European Feudal era influenced. Sakhmet's set of lands is Ancient Egyptian influenced. Altador and any worlds that will be assosiated with it seem to be Ancient Greek influenced. It is a safe bet that these groups could have fought each other, not just within themselves. Bringer of Night (from Hannah) was found in Terror Mountain, so that could show that the Sakhmetan/Qasalan influrnce was spread that far out. The Darkest Faerie has been found in Maraqua. She seems to have links to both Altador and Meridell, so there could be a link between them there.
Brining all parts back to the plot (I hope): the reason Qasala was lost, Jazan was cursed, and Razul was sealed away could be due to a possible world war/dark age. A rival faction, possibly Coltzan or Altador, could have sealed Razul, Bringer of Night, and the Darkest Faerie and cursed Qasala, Jazan and the Qasalans.
I'm sorry if this is too big or too far off topic at points, but I don't really know where else to put it. If this gets deleted, that is cool. I saved a copy for myself already.

I might have missed this, but why is the second Qasalan symbol in the first post different from before? I could swear some of those symbols are different from before..

The colours appear in the pop-up window picture of your crystal after you have visited the card catalogue at the entrance of the Repository. These colours tell you what order to read your scrolls in.
Find this explination more in-depth in the first post.
The first post didn't mention anything about having to click the crystal in your inventory and viewing the upclose picture, so that's what confused me.
I went through all the scrolls again in the right order, and it worked now. Thanks everyone!

What a coincidence my 2nd crystal was stolen by a random event.
Anyway, on Neopets birthday i finally was able to grab a 2nd crystal from spike trap after i done my 3rd scroll sequence of 12 my 3rd crystal was stolen from RE and there was no crystal in any of the 3 traps, even after i got 1st from Chef & did 1st scroll sequence of 12. IOW until the 15th i was stuck for a week or so. On that same birthday, barely 15 minutes later, my 2nd crystal again got stolen again while walking in the repository.
I gave up then. A few days later the plot advanced and i was eager to continue. I started w/chef again, did 1st scroll sequence of 12, went to mystic room, waited for light, and then found sth in my spike trap. From there i went on and on, had to do all my sequences again but i written details down so no biggie. What was a biggie earlier on is that the traps didn't work. Anyway, i put my crystals in my SDB every time i gotten one, right away. Nothing bad happened in my SDB. One time, a crystal was replaced from SDB (hence "gone" yes) and a new one got in my inventory!
And-the point of this post- if you believe in the fable that it "disappears" after you enter & use the mystic room (i don't believe it at all since my test proved otherwise!) then you just remove it from your SDB right before you enter that room and put your new crystal (or myst scroll) to your inventory as fast as you are able to with as least clicks as possible. This is what i did (except as stated above 1 time i forgot and nothing bad happened) and the sequence and getting of crystals does "count" then. It just works. Theres no safer way than this one AFAIK.

This was absolutely, positively NOT A FABLE! It suddenly disappeared from SDB while you were in the model city room, BEFORE you could use it. It was, however, a bug that has since been fixed. That is the reason you had this experience: "One time, a crystal was replaced from SDB (hence "gone" yes) and a new one got in my inventory!"
