JacLyn. I like it. So many people have spelled it wrong, though. In kindergarten, my teacher actually argued with my parents saying that's not how to spell my name. My family and friends IRL usually call(ed) me Jackie. All my online friends call me Jas, even when we meet up or talk on the phone. I way prefer it. ^.^

I have no idea. I guess she just thought that beyond my parents and my birth certificate that she was right and my name couldn't possibly be spelled that way? She also was not overly fond of the capital in the middle. lol A lot of people put a space in because of that, but it's one word! >.< I couldn't get it capitalized on my class ring because the lady said they couldn't do that. I think that's rubbish, though. lol

I know plenty of people have a few preferences on how they like certain names spelled (e.g., I prefer Jeff to Geoff, Lindsey to Lindsay, etc.), but arguing with the parents about it is kind of stupid...especially if you deny the possibility. I mean, wth? O_o Just weird.
