Well, that's incredibly easy...see kids, algebra can come in handy!

I just couldn't decide whether the Ruki had 6 legs, or if 2 of them were arms, but I ended up going with 6... hope that's right.

I had that trouble to, I was debating on whether or not "legs" referred to what the pets actually walk on, or all their legs in all. *shrug*

Awww. That LC was easy. I wish I had spotted it in the news sooner.

For once I'm awake when the LC is out up, but I'm busy watching DVDs...

I just hope I was in time to get a trophy, although seeing as it's so easy this time that's very unlikely. =/

Oh it was very easy, as I just got to it. I forgot the process for it, and it took me awhile to remember, but yeah, I forget easily :P.

Yeah, I tried all possible ways, and only one worked with the information given, and I'm pretty sure I got this one right. I really just want that coveted avatar.

I put Ruki's only had 4 legs. Do they have four or six legs? o_O

I said 4. They don't stand on the other 2 so i consider them arms... and even if they're technically legs I wouldn't see the need for them to have socks.

That was my logic too. :)

I said four for rukis and two for yurbles. In all the different poses, the rukis seem to be using the two front legs as arms, and both species need two hands free to eat. It worked with the information given, anyway.

I learned this kind of maths in primary school (at around 11 - 12 years old).

Seriously, couldn't they make it harder? The np award is going to be pathetic again... it makes it worse that this conundrum was released while I was sleeping, so I wouldn't even get the item. :x

Ah this was a good LC unfortunately I think I left it a little too late. Ah well, I'll still get a couple of nps :)

Dang it, I came too late. I guess I will have to settle for the piddling amount of NP that will result from idiots posting the answer and that it's easy. This contest has been reduced to a "Who sees the question first" race again. I wish there was some way to make it in without having to get a 5 hour delayed disadvantage.

Hint (why bother looking?):

y + r = 141

2y + 4r = 350

waa!!! i didn't spot this until too late :( pity, since graphics calc confirmed my answer really quickly too :(

i think i know why they have done this, its the 90th one, so its for the avv, and i think they had quite a few complaints, poor tnt :P ah they try so hard! lol

and its not like i didn't see the news, so i have no-one to blame but myself, guess i had other things on the ole brain.

and i have the magical trevor song stuck in my head too! :P
If you see my sanity, get it to give me a call.
