Wow, just wow. That's utterly ridiculus.

You're so wrong there.

Words can HURT badly.

I agree.

Unless human feelings don't count as a 'thing'.

I think Skizzy's saying that words we consider "swears" don't hurt anyone.

At least, that's what I presume.

No, not really. In fact if I start swearing people know I'm upset and if they've had anything to do with it most of them know that they've pushed me too far. Frankly I find swearing unnecessary and pointless particularly in circumstances where the person has complete control of their emotions, etc.

Oh, I know. Many of the words that do hurt people are under the "Swear" category. I was replying to that, though saying words in general aren't hurtful, is even more farfetched.

Not sure, but definitely need to change. Especially when my friends around me don't swear a lot. They're absolute angels. And make me look like some devil :P hehe.

Yes, I do. But not sure when. And in both English and Cantonese (which I should really change because well, cantonese swearing, I think, is even more offensive).

Oh that reminds me. My friends says I say I word in Cantonese that IS a swear word. But I think it's a minor one. I don't really say it that often, though.

Oh and I agree with you that cantonese swearing is more offensive =P.

Yeah sometimes they can slip. It's no where near as much as it used to be though, and it usually depends on what I'm talking about or my mood.

Quite a bit, lol. I actually have to censor myself in school and say 'effing'. But my teachers still get mad at me. *Shakes fist*

I play a game with myself to see how long I can go without swearing. :P So never.

I'll say things like, 'Crud' instead. Crud is a good multi-use word. ^_^
