To me she looks a lot younger, like a low teens girl in a costume rather than a mid twenties woman in official robes.
PROS:
i'm glad they downsized the slit on the light faerie's skirt! i know you couldn't see anything anyway but still, it seemed a bit high. if she ever moved out of that one pose she'd be in trouble.
I love the look of air and fire dresses and the bottom of the dark faerie!
CONS:
I think the air faerie should look more windblown (her hair is barely moving, and her dress isn't at all) and I miss her sheer sleeves.
Also, flames go up, not down, and the fire faerie dress looks more ragged than fiery (they could solve that by turning some of the edges up as if they were flaming upward)
Also, light faerie should be a bit more glowy, with less distinct edges, imo.
The earth faerie one.... um... those eyes are totally crazy. I understand drawing big eyes to make cutesy, and the others end up okay, even the water faerie, but I hate anime, and there is just something about that one just seems sooooooooooooo anime to me.
ok, i don't hate anime totally, but I really only enjoy it in an illustrative style rather than cartoon style.
I can't draw worth a toot but I can still complain about the faces on the air and light faeries looking a little funky, too.
I think the dark faerie's arms are hard to see against her wings.
and finally... Why is the earth faerie cut off at the knees? at least proportionally... we should see her feet but we don't, but the proportions of her dress aren't right to be full length. I think they should just take the white under-skirt out and draw her barefooted.
Also, is there a space faerie one? How about the fountain faerie? and with the generic water faeries getting all fancy, how are we supposed to tell them apart from the special fountain faerie? just from the little tiny color swatches in her hair? you barely notice those unless you look really carefully. At least they should make her face the other way or something.
If you search in google for the faeries individually, like "Fire Faerie Quest" you can see the old images, but once you click on them they become the old images....and I haven't found a new Space faerie
I like the style of the Dark Faerie better as the old-school one (the original with no face, that is). The purple the Dark Faeries are favoring at the moment is too close to Fyora's costume for me- the red and black of the old one was much more distinct.

Eh, Earth Faerie is a bit too Disney-ish(the clothing) for my taste. It'd look better if there was no white doily-looking underlining. Dark Faerie is cute--I like the hair--though I think they could've done better on the wings. Water Faerie has a kind of gypsy-look, but I'd prefer she didn't have the pearls all over. Fire Faerie's a bit darker than the rest, which I think works well, but I wish the wings had a more firey look. Fyora has lost the alien look, fortunately.
Overall, I like the eyes better. The funky old eyes just didn't work for me.

*face-palm*
You know what happened? My cache was still holding on to the old light faerie image, so I actually was looking at the old light faerie. I see the new one now, and I think she looks really nice (although her face looks kind of odd, but I can't put my finger on why).
Edit: Oh, looks like I wasn't the only one. I wonder what happened.
Basically your computer went "ooo I've seen a pic of a light faerie before lemme go and find it" and brings out the old version that is stored in the comp
