What's the first thing you remember about playing Neopets?

I've only been playing about a year...so...

somehow I stumbled onto the Lost Desert Plot, walking thru tons of doors and saying to myself..."What the heck?" I went back a few times to try to figure out what was going on, but nope, no clue. A week later the Times told about finishing the plot.

Also, I loved playing Hasee Bounce. silly, but fun hearing the gagging noises.

I also wasted the color paint brushes (didn't go to the fountain) from newbie pack and bottled faeries that I got at a RE--not knowing the pet needed a certain level.

Oh and haggling blue/green/yellow Mynci MP's from the magic shop from 8k to 4k to make about 3-6k profit... they used to RS like one in every 2-3 rs'es (and they took about 45 seconds to sell out)

Buying a Faerie Paint Brush from the hidden tower for 200k and using it on my Gelert that was only going to be sent to the pound later. *hits my head on a wall*

That and Chia Bingo - I miss that game.

I think about Fall Out Boy! When I first got my account, my sister got her FOB cd and always blasted it in our room. Cool huh?

I remember buying Potato Wedges from the food shop... then getting worried about my "very bloated" acara, flapped around for Bloat-be-Gone tablets and found out my acara wasn't sick at all

I did the very same thing - I got my pet bloated by eating meowclops whiskers I got in Advent Calendar and went in search of the cure only to discover I couldn't feed my pet the medicine as he wasn't really sick.

First thing I remember is the Advent Calendar - and surfing the pound looking for a cybunny (I think I refreshed create a pet page for cybunnies every few minutes thinking that LE ment some are released every few minutes every day). I ended up adopting a badly named kacheek because it was level 5. I also remember trying to do kitchen quest by looking in Malls in the market place - I wasn't aware of the existence of The Shop Wizard
I also remember buying jewled collar from Unis Clothing hoping my pet will be able to wear it.
