Yes, I took off the halter and harness of my Halloween Uni and put it on a green uni.

When you try and re-equip the pet and save it, you get a message saying you cannot save while another pet is wearing them.

Okay. I've read through both threads (yikes!) and messed around on the site.

First Impression: Holy ****************** what the heck happened here!?

Now, going around, I've found several positives, and several negatives.

: I actually chose to convert my Faerie Lenny... he's a boy, and I always thought the original stance was too girly for him. I like being able to go straight to the bank, and for whatever reason, I don't have to worry about scrolling. I'm not sure if it's the way my monitor is set up or whatever... but I don't see a size difference at all.

: What did they do to my lutari!? My Lutari is a friendly, helpful little girl... why is she waving a fist around?? In fact, why are the Xweetoks, Jetsams... heck, most of the pets waving fists? I can only hope that next week, they'll have an option for your pet to look a little les... threatening.

As for writing letters/boycotting - well, I've written comments on the things I don't like and the things I do... and I won't be online this weekend, because I'm going to Disney World for my birthday (yay!... though it means I'll miss my birthday on neopets

) So I don't know if I'll be any help or whatever...
*shrugs* Gah. I think it'll be okay in the end. But it's going to take a while.

I don't have any clothes with any of my pets. Just four different colored "starry backgrounds." I thought we couldn't buy the newly released clothing yet? Is some old clothing now wearable? I also thought we were given a few of whatever items that went with a painted pet? I guess I misunderstood the FAQ altogether, and assumed that as usual the non-release of 'new' items was just that and that it might happen Monday.

Someone clue me in, because I don't want to actually click on any page on Neopets. It's not just about the boycott. It really does strain my eyes.

Check my previous post

If you have a painted pet, you can use the clothes on another pet. I don't know what other pets can do it yet, but I can use my Halloween Uni halter and harness.

So you can put the clothing on another pet..but not save it?

Um, but what clothing? As I said all I get are 4 different colored starry backgrounds. What am I missing?

If you have painted pets, go to their customize screen. Click "Applied" at the top and then you can remove parts of their outfits.

In the customisation, you can put the halter and harness on, but it wont stay on when you go to quick ref, unless you save it. So I would have to take them off the green uni, if I wanted to put them back on the Halloween Uni.

The Draik does not have the Uni clothes.

For my Halloween Uni, his halter (not a bridle, as TNT call it) and harness are removeable. I can put them on another uni.

That is what I have done in my screenies, in a previous post.

What I mean is, if you wanted your pets to change clothing, is it possible? Or can they only try on the clothing, but it won't let you save it?

I am not too sure what you mean.

Once I took off the halter and harness, it goes into the customisation inventory. It stays there. I can dress either of the unis in it.

But if I want to keep them on so people can see them dressed, I have to save the uni with the clothes.

You can try on the clothes on either uni, because the clothes stay in the inventory.

Well let's see. I have on my main a Darigan Bori that I won't dare even convert and a Skunk Kougra; and on my side a Tomato Chia, Mallow Grundo, Cloud Shoryu and Mutant Techo. None of them have clothing. o_O

So I really feel again I am not getting something major about this. Is it a glitch or am I doing/understanding something wrong? I guess since my particular painted pets don't already have accessories I can't do anything yet?

It may be because you cannot 'undress' any of those paint jobs.

You need a painted pet with clothes, like royal.

Yes, Daze sorry. I have read every single post of these threads. I am tired and I really really truly was not understanding the relevancy of your answers until it dawned on me what I edited in my post just above these.

I was at times thinking no one read *my* first post about this.

Well, that is silly. So there are no new clothes to buy? Or are old items wearable? Or that is not the point of this concept at all? I thought it was.

So only pets that already have clothes and accessories as painted can be customised really. If so, that makes all this seem more ridiculous to me.

What happened to all the items we got to play with during the customisation beta? I suppose those will slowly be released over time?

I really don't like where the Log Out button is..I'm a sloppy clicker and I keep logging myself out.

And on the (old) subject of screen resolution and scrolling..My personal computer is fine, I have a lot of excess room on each side and things look nice. Tonight I'm using my boyfriends computer and it's about..well..2-3 years old and is set to 1024x7whatever and the new layout doesn't quite fit. I had to stretch it out til both sides are kinda off screen to make the side to side scrolling go away. I don't know what's up with that but it's going to make my list of arguments for why he should get a new one for sure.

I'm getting more used to how things are set up..there are moments where I still get very lost and frustrated..but I hope those are kinks that'll get fixed soon.

This afternoon though, on my way to class, I was at a stop light and I did start crying. Lots of reasons there..ugly aishas, end of an era..It's like watching a good series (Tv/movie) and a main character was recast. You just don't connect the same way.
