Ok, I'm gonna sound like a total newbie here, but this is really only my second plot I've seriously worked on...

Is there a message or anything of the sort that I should be looking for when fighting the Ravenous Monster? I've only fought him a few times and I see alot of you have battled him well over 100...how do I know when I've fought him enough? o_O

(I'm really not that "into" the Battledomes and don't want to fight him anymore than necessary)

Fighting once will suffice. You just might get more points at the end of the plot for defeating the opponents multiple times. Plus it's bragging rights to say that you've beaten x monster x times. well that and we're just passing the time until the next part chapter of the plot comes out.

Whew...good to know! Although, if you DO get more points by having fought him numerous times, I'll be SOL on that one! :roflol:

Ah, try not to worry about it too much about it. In past few plots, Neopets has given trophies, avatars and/or sidebars to anyone who got at least one point in the plot. I have a friend who only battled in the last plot (the Haunted Woods one). He just didn't have the time to devote to figuring out all of the concoctions and finding all the ghost meepits. And yet he still got a trophy, sidebar, and avatar. He didn't get too many points with which to spend on the plot prizes, but those prizes can always be bought from other players. In the Lost Desert Plot, I only played the first game. The plot was super boring to me at the time, so I didn't do any of the rest. And, yet, I still got the sidebar and a trophy. I was amazed!

The important thing, in my opinion, is doing enough of the plot to make sure you get the trophy and avatar and/or sidebar. The rest of the stuff you can buy.

EDIT: And can I please have a round of applause for those kind souls who have taken it upon themselves to help out fellow PPTers by giving solutions to their puzzles. They are just wonderful in my opinion for taking their own time to help fellow players. I know that I said it before (a thread ago), but it bears repeating.

I never did finish the Lost Desert plot either...agree with you - B O R I N G...lol - but I DO wish I'd had more points to spend...would have loved that Paintbrush! I just hope they have nifty prizes for this plot and that I have enough points to enjoy them!

Given that mine states: msg=Clean+the+deck+you+scurvy+dog%21&item_id=20,4,7,19,6,5,7,6,10,8,4&grid=6

In the numbers above, 4, 7, and 6 repeat themselves. Basically, it says (to me) that a) I still have to finish the 3rd puzzle; and which puzzle shapes I have available.

This matches with what anjuna's says - which implies he/she is finished with the puzzles.

Speaking of which, I posted asking for help before last split, got a hint that I couldn't make work (thank you though!) and was asked to make the tetris version - but got no reply off the tetris version. Could someone please take a look at this (http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z82/cmbwagner/game-blocks.gif) and help me out here? I've been working on it this whole time and still can't figure out the dang thing.

Cat, I hope you aren't upset that no one got back to you. When a thread closes (after 10 pages) and a new one starts up, people (including myself) often forget to check the past threads. I wish I could help you with your puzzle. But my guess is that someone here will be kind enough to figure it out for you.

OH NO! My offers in the TP still haven't been replied. I'm REALLY getting frustrated. I've finished at 50 wins. Don't have the time to go any further. He's too easy.

I'm up to 25 wins, but I know as soon as the monster gets harder, I'm in big trouble. I'm trying to buy weapons at the trading post, but most offers have been sitting in limbo for 2 days, and in the meantime, prices are skyrocketing!! I tried to get around that by putting up a paintbrush to trade for the two weapons I want. As soon as I posted it, I got my first 2 "I'm a neopets employee, log in here to become staff" emails

They must lurk in wait of people with paintbrushes to try to break into their account. Now I'm worried how far it'll go.
