Tigerfruit Smoothie at Jamba Juice
Moderator: Moderators
So I went to get some today, they only sell them in the sixteen(small) size which is about 3 bucks. it comes with a small button, sticker and packet of crystals that change the color of your smoothie.
The smoothie itself tastes like strawberry banana, very good.
The button is the type you pin to your shirt, in fact the employees "convinced" me to wear it in the store. the button I got is about a little over an inch in diamater and has a picture (head shot) of a white koukra in an orange backround with the neopets logo at the bottom.
The sticker has a picture of a white kougra holding a jamba juice in a tropical backround (mystery island?) with the words Tigerfruit Smoothie along with a picture of a tigerfruit at the side. its the same picture as the promotional splash on the jamba juice page at neopets.com
The crystals packet itself has the same picture as the sticker, I plan to keep as it is instead, you never know when you're gonna run into a kougra.

I got one today. It tastes kinda like they threw a little bit of everything in it. There was lemon for sure, and there was bananas and strawberries. Im pretty sure it had cherry, and it had a HINT of vanilla. It was pretty yummy. I convinced them to give a super sized one for 1 dollar more than a normal supersize one.(Im gonna grow fat). I got the button, a packet of crystals, and a tasty receipt. I didn’t try the crystals, but im gonna try it tommrow by pouring them on a ice cream sundae!

My daughter and I got one yesterday (Jamba Juice is right next door to her dance studio).
It don't want to spoil the "magic," but the store employee told me that is JJ's banana/berry smoothie, to which you add the magic crystals. The banana/berry smoothie is made from apple-strawberry juice, bananas, raspberry sherbet, nonfat frozen yogurt, blueberries, and ice. The magic crystals are made of concentrated grape juice and sugar. The drink is orange to begin with, so when you stir the crystals in, you get swirls of bright purple in there. Which makes it look like a tigerfruit.
It was extremely tasty--the best smoothie I have had, in fact. It's all fresh fruit, yogurt, and juice. So, except for the little bit of sugar in the crystals, it's actually good for you, too. About $3, which isn't too bad of a price.
And, FYI, a tigerfruit isn't a tiger or a smooshed kougra. It's a fruit that it striped like a tiger with purple berries inside. They are expensive: 95K-120K on the TP.
And, you know, the advertising scheme worked. I had never heard of Jamba Juice before it and never really cared too much for smoothies before it. But, now that I tried their smoothies, I will definitely go back there again.
