I love Opera, personally.

I don't think anyone but me has it anymore, but I love it. It has a "hotlist" feature that you can use to take little notes (I use it to copy my lj posts into before going to post, in case it dies) and other things you want to remember, just paste em in there.

Tabbed browsing...the free version has a little ad at the top, but I don't even notice it. I get barely any popups, either.

Ok, how on earth did I miss this extension? *runs to download and install* I'm *constantly* checking my gmail address and it gets rather annoying XD

I use Firefox 60% of tabs, 20% of avoding spy-ware/pop-ups, 10% because I like shiny geeky things, and 10% because I am addicted to the Wed Developer Toolbar plugin. So very nice for disabling images :D

I dunno... Mozilla is pretty slow, much slower than IE. IF you want fast speed, just get a firewall instead of sacrificing kb/ps for zilla.

I've been using firefox ever since version 0.7. It's so fresh and clean, and I don't mean that look-wise. IE just comes with so much useless and uncontrollable stuff. I have to use IE at work and it's always so refreshing when I come home and I can open a browser that displays my gmail messages, weather forecast mp3 playlist, quick searches etc all at once and very unintrusively. :) And their plugins are just top! Plus it's safer due to less evilness of modzilla and the fact that not many people use it yet which makes it less attractive for attacks. :)

I've been using Mozilla/Firefox for around 2 years now. I love the tabbing, bookmark keywords (so I can type in ppt and it takes me to this forum), how if you type in a word in the address bar it takes you to the most viewed page under that search, the name, I just love it. I switched to it because of the horrible spyware I kept getting while using IE.

Tbh, I like firefox, even though there were a few teething difficulties I had with flash and things like that.

IE does that through favorites. Type the name of a link in favorites into addressbar, and you'll be taken there (directories also work, for example PPT\Forums could take you to forums, and PPT\Main could take you to front page) :)

I still like Netscape 7.2. I use it mainly for the popup/spyware blocker, but I love the email feature (which you can tweak to show other addresses) and tabbed browsing. The keywords feature is interesting, but I never use it. I perfer fishing throuh my bookmark list, since that's what I'm used to.

I got rid of all of the AOL junk they sent along with it, but I kept the weaker AIM in case the good, real AIM croaked. :P
