Although it's "just one little word", it doesn't not matter at all. Granted, I swear myself, although I've managed to tone it down. (Decided my vocabulary needed extending.) Granted, the children probably hear these words a lot more in school than anywhere else.

However, what your parents allow you to hear can be pretty influential, I think. My parents do not approve of me having music with swear words. They can't control what other people say, but it's possible for me to choose what I listen to. That influences me somewhat, as it means I make my own choices over my behaviour, so I don't swear at home, and I've toned down my language since I was 13 (and swore all the time). I take care not to let younger children to hear "bad language". It's just not pretty to hear swearing frequent every sentence. They'll start, but I'd rather they didn't start too early.

Home is more important than school. As long as home doesn't approve, it still has effect even though school may influence as well. If the home approved, let all the floodgates open for the barrage of swearing that will follow.
