I agree, I was pretty disgusted by that. The snakes were totally just minding their own business, and those dumb baboons went and killed them just to waste them on sharks they had no hope of catching. Maybe if they had the Sling, but with sharpened sticks? Psh.

They didn't use all the snakes to try to catch thos sharks did they? I thought they used most of them... *shrugs*

Anywho.. it's definetly not as bad as that other season where the guy killed the pig.. or any of the times where the people killed the chickens they won.

No, I don't mind them killing animals for food, I'd do it too. But if you're going to do it, at least eat them. It looked to me like they used at least 2 of the snakes they caught, if not 3, to try and lure the sharks. If I'd been there, I'd have screeched at them how stupid they were being for thinking they could kill sharks with sharpened sticks. I mean, come on.

Even I know that a stick isn't going to do anything to a shark. "Let's throw big sticks at the sharks! That'll kill them for sure!" Please, go back to school and learn about sharks.

I was horrified too that they killed seasnakes and didn't eat them. And I was disgusted at whoever decides what gets shown on TV for showing them cutting a poor, innocent snake's head off. And really, even if they DID eat the snakes, how much meat can a snake that skinny possibly have? o.o

well... as far as I know Kraits actually aren't all that endangered (if at all).
No more then the fish that they're probably eating.

Sticks, if used properly, straitened... or strait... and sharpened WELL, and much lighter then what they were using, could definately kill a shark. But since they're not smart, they wouldn't realise that.

A snake has a fair bit of meat on it... and any protein out there is better then none.

Argh, what annoyed me was not so much the one snake that was out in the open, but the snake that was like.. Hidden and they still attacked it. grrrr.
But what was with eating venimous snakes? Couldn't that kill them?

Edit: Did anyone else think they were so stupid these past two weeks, sitting out the old guy during reward?! Sit him out during immunity, when your life on the island is on the line!

And I also don't understand why they keep sitting Willard out during reward.
I definetly wouldn't be worrying about getting a sewing kit when there's a chance I could lose immunity b/c I sat out the weak old guy last challenge.

If he'd only said "Her only advantage is her sexuality!" then I wouldn't have had a problem with it, because that's true about Kim.

But he threw the "She's a woman!" comment in there, which turned it into a sweeping generalization about women, and THAT'S what I have a problem with.

I can't know if he meant to say it that way, but to me it sounded like he thinks women are best at seducing men to get ahead in the game.

But... even if he does think that way about the women who play the game.. well... can ya really blame him?
I mean of course not ALL of the female contestants have used their looks to get through and it doesn't really seem like any of the ones now are (unless you wanna count Angie flashing her boobs all the time b/c her bra is too small ), but a good many of them have before.

Well... ok, that's a good point. But, from what we've seen anyway, James doesn't do a whole lot of work either, and he's not the greatest at challenges. So he hasn't got much room to talk. xD I mean, Bobby John could say something like that, but only because he's practically carrying the tribe on his shoulders.
