I think that these plots should go to puzzles that invovle everyone working 'together', instead of battling it out with our internet connections..
Like, it'd be better if we were just assigned graves, as opposed to having to find an unmarked one.. Therefore, there'd be no having to rush around trying to find an unmarked grave in the first place..

As yeah, there shouldn't be an unfair advantage to anyone, depending on timezone, internet connection and factors like that.. Neopets *is* meant to be worldwide, due to being on the internet and all..

(As you can see, i'm just annoyed that i can't find any graves at all :roflol: )

There's being annoyed (which I am too) and then there's wanted it to be a bit more fair.

I really think that tnt should have put a limit on how many graves a person can mark. Its really rediculous that those of who are not on cable or T1 lines don't have a prayer of even getting to them.

well it's not just about connection... I have a decent connection and I still can't find any. I've been looking for awhile now and I'm about ready to call it a day on this part.

I was about to post the same thing because it worked for me. I did this and got 3 graves... not too bad for a person on dial up that also has parkinsons. LOL

How do I get out?

I can't seem to get out of the graveyard I got into!?!?! And since I'm yet to find any unmarked graves, it's pointless to be there. Any suggestions?

Okay, never mind...that was dumb! I know how to get out of these graveyards; I dug and tested in the last step. Sorry!

I was just reading a topic about the empty-graveyard url tactic and the board got deleted by tnt. That indicates that the url tactic is against the rules.

Grrr, I'm just tired of waiting for new graveyards to open! I've been in every one, there's no openings in any of them, and they haven't changed in the last 15 minutes... *growls*

I did manage to do one yesterday, but that's it.

Then again, TNT would have to make everything on Neopets "fair" in that way, like for an example the shops. Only people with good internet connection can get rare items.

And it's not unfair that people who pay more for better internet connection have faster internet?

This gravemarking thing is just ONE part in ONE plot. There will be parts for you to participate in later on I'm sure :)

I just wanted to add a little tidbit...Fast connection or slow connection seems not to matter lately. I have highspeed cable internet. I dug up only one grave and have not found an unmarked grave at all since this newest part started. It would have been nice to have assigned graves, but other than that, I don't know what to do differently.

They should remove a grave once it has been all marked...that way they can be putting up more than one new grave

Ok, I've gotten several graves just doing this one thing:
I don't waste time even trying if I click on a new graveyard and see it's one of the smaller ones (i.e., you start at the bottom)

If it's the looong one, I go STRAIGHT for the back, ignoring any empty graves on the way. Then I go to the midde of the top or bottom and start there. Most people start working their way from one of the sides, but I find I just miss them that way.

(I realize I take the chance that everybody may start doing this, and I'll be screwed, but I've done several graves now so I guess I don't mind).

Edit: Also (I type this because I mentioned it to a friend, who hadn't realized or wasn't thinking aboutit...), don't forget that going kiddy-cornerd it a lot faster than going straight up one way, then going at a 90 degree angle. I make sure to jump to the very edge of the screen each time, to cover more ground and see more graves.

I'm guessing this part is almost over. There are less and less names in the books and I haven't seen a new graveyard come up in quite a while. I got quite a few graves marked by doing the "run to the end of the field" thing. I wonder what the next step will be, hopefully something that everyone can do, regardless of their internetspeed

I haven't seen any new graveyards open in the last half hour.. So perhaps it is over? Finally..

new graves havent come since long time now.. maybe its done... i could only get one name but when i tried to go to the shelf the caretaker kicked me out, i found a new garve but it said i had to work with the other name first! i went back to the shelves but it wa slike i had no name cause couldnt click the shelves, so i guess i didnt do anything this step
