A lot of people had that happen to them Dec. 1st and Dec. 2nd. nps but no gifts. It appears to have been a glitch that has now been fixed (according to Donna in the the Neopian Times' editorials for that week). The first page of this thread has the names of the gifts that were given out on those days.

Well I think the chair, and all the neohome things this year are great! This chair especially goes so will with my disco pet's bedroom Love em! And the techo clock, I can't wait for that to be activated. It's so cute in an almost creepy sort of way (those eyes!)

IMO, Neo has really done a great job. They think up all these new items, do all this extra animation, added sound and re-released an avatar from last year.

There will always be people who don't like a particular item or items. But we are getting goodies every day for a month and a little extra np every day. Neo doesn't have to do this, they choose to. And for that I say Thank You!

I don't like that people got the av either. I got it last year. I think if they wanted another av for the advent calendar they should make another new one. I liked how the av was a one time only thing. It made it cool and special.

I do not like the idea that they gave out the avatar again entirely . . . BUT . .

it gives me hope they may rerelease the Jhudora 'Evil? Oh Yeah' avatar on Jhudora day. I had already done her quest for the day BEFORE they released the avatar, so I didn't get it. Fooey.

Hm, I went and picked up my prizes around 12:45 or so, and I got no avatar. Missed it last year, too.

Yeah, but the av was released with the news that evening and only available until the end of that day which was only a few hours. I had the same problem, having done a quest already and couldn't get it. Yeah, it would be nice to be able to get it, but I'd prefer if we couldn't. I think some tnings should remain special.

Its a funky chair, i loved it so much i bought more and i put a few in my party parlour..they really brighten the place up..now if only the other furniture would work..

i wish they would give us a sparkly disco ball

There are some avatars that I would rather not think about, like the other pea-related avatar.
Having a Pea Chia with a super attack pea is nearly impossible to 99% of the neopian population.
