astrolabe
It looks likes there's an astrolabe in the observatory, on a stand. Maybe we need ours before we can use that one. Maybe the next clue will involve the astrolabe in the observatory.

You mean you're at the docks, but you can't click on the wave to get the clue? I think it's one of the closest waves, to the right. I don't have firefox, so can't help you there.

Try clicking inside the image first and then start tabbing through... If that still doesn't work, then just do what cslewislover posted

That would be hilarious.

Well, either hilarious, or ridiculously, manically difficult...
*crosses fingers for funny* The stars are hard enough for me, thanks!

The only thing I find odd about using the astrolobe later is that the telescope was virtual (Yes, everything in Neopets is pixels) while the badge and astrolobe are items. Given that there were items you held on to in the LDP, why was the telescope not an item? Better yet, something else we had to fix. It would even make sense in the plot because the president would not have wanted us to actually be able to do something with the telescope.
Not true. The president wasn't jealous until we started having such great success at finding constallations. If he had found as many or more, he wouldn't care. Heck, he might not even be so sore if he had found even one! But that the club's so far failed, and we've discovered half of the hero's constellations gets his tail in a twist.
I definitely think the badge is a souvenir. It shows we belong in the astronomy club and all that. The astrolabe, I'm not sure. I also place a bet we'll get two more items after constellation 9 and 12. So far, it's been a workable pattern.
Also, I think I've found my Hunter constellation. Initially, I saw just 5 coloured stars too close together to be coincidence, but now I found the necessary sixth. Where should I send this shape for analysis/integration/statistical study?

Naw, if it were that we'd get one after every step. They've definitely got data fields for that. Personally, I think they'll either play a small part at the end, or do nothing whatsoever. Maybe we'll have to battle the Darkest Faerie and the only way to beat her is by using the Astrolabe in battle. By the way, as soon as I heard astrolabe, I thought Simpsons. Remember the episode where he uses his entire Christmas bonus to buy a novelty talking astrolabe? Good times.
