I've gotta say, I stayed up as late as I could last night and got all the 1- and 2-mods done based on my little notepad full of combinations, and then this morning I got one 3-mod done without using anything more than the charmander page, but damn was I thrilled when I found that link to the code breaker. It took me over an hour to do the first 3-mod by myself, and I was still near the beginning of the list of potential mods. That would have been excrutiating. So I feel good that I did at least one by myself, and that's that. Yay for awesome people who can write programs like that.

This is insanely difficult. I'm still stuck on the 2 mod ones. I've managed one, via trial and error, but it took me about an hour and a half.

I had no problem with the 1 and 2 modifiers, I used the process of elimination for those however there was no way I would of been able to do that with the 3 modifiers!

YES done! I'd gotten all the 1 and 2 ones down this morning but that program really helped on the 3s.

The generator seems to be down for me...am I missing something?

I finished after I spent an hour trying to solve a two modifier message before realizing there was a list of messages to pick from and that I needed to do the one modifier messages first, D'oh!

Okay, I have not read all 7 pages but I think I am missing a few french fries in my Happy Meal! I am trying to understand these charts. I have finished all the 1 mods just by luck but need the charts for 2 and 3.... but when I look at the chart that says "This is for the 1 mod. part!" and compare it to the 1 mods that I have completed, they don't seem to match up. I must be looking at it wrong!

The key says that if you have a V , you need an A thing, then you need to add an 8 symbol. HOWEVER, I start with a V in the key, I need an A but what worked is when I added a X instead of an 8. How am I looking at this wrong? I don't understand how I got the 1 mods, there isn't a chance to get the 2 and 3 without understanding the whole thing!

Mine did not match the key thing on the petpet pages either. So what I did is figured out what symbols would produce the correct one instead - just mix and match until you find out what works for you - use the first symbols only to start and when you find the correct ending symbol, then work your combos up from there...hope that helps but not likely lol. You probably aren't doing it wrong but obviously some people have different combos that work instead of the ones posted on the page you're using.

On another note: I'll be very surprised if we have another puzzle or anything for at least another week - this one was a pretty big one, and there'll probably be a bit of a delay in order to give everyone a chance to complete it.

Are we sure ninboy was frozen was over creating the decoder, and not over suspicious account activity? I know ninboy said they told him he hacked their system, but he's probably been receiving a lot of thank-you gifts for his decoder, and TNT could've mistaken that for some sort of scamming/hacking situation.
