Yay, a game avatar I can actually get without a lot of practice! My high score in this game is 5473.
Just got it with a score of 4422.
Edited to add some tips:
-Type meepits or hungrymeepits for an extra life
-Type juice-o-matic to reset all the timers (works once)
You get 50 extra points for using every pipe. It's easiest to do this in the early levels. Remember that it's actually better to get
almost all of the pipes in the color juice that matches the meepit than to use every pipe but have it be the wrong color. So try for all pipes in the proper color, and if you can't do that, get all but two or three. You can get more than 500 points in the first round if you do this right.
In the levels with more than one meepit, keep an eye on how many meepits still need to be fed. When it says you have one left, make sure you feed two at once, so you get a bunch of extra points. Remember to match the juice to the meepits if at all possible.
Once it gets to the point where you have 20 seconds to feed three meepits, try to feed all three at once, and just match the juice to whichever one is easiest. If you can't match the juice to any of them, don't worry about it -- just feed them as fast as possible.
Some people (including me) find it easier to work backwards from the meepits to the pipes. Try that and see if it makes things easier for you.
You should be able to get 3500 points (at least) using this method. Usually my score is in the 4200 range when I play.
