Does anyone know what the deal is with the "strange lever" in the Space Station? I never noticed it before... I pulled it and it stole 100 np from me. Does it always do this? Or can there be good things from it too?

It's designed to take immense amounts of Neopoints out of the system from crazed avatar freaks (meant in a good way :P) crazy enough to spend hundreds of thousands of neopoints to get one avatar.

In short, it takes 100NP away all the time. Only on a single rare occasion does it give an avatar.

There is also said (In Editorial) that occasionally it gave neopoints to you. I spent over 200K trying to get the avatar and was never gifted with neopoints.

I didn't know what was happening, I held down the enter button, but I lost about 290k on it, and ended up with the avatar. I found it depressing though.

The level is a very expensive "sweet spot" where I have heard of people getting great REs from, but at 100 np a refresh, is it really worth it?

I lost like 80k already... No avatar yet..

I got so fed up with it i turned off the darn computer and went to bed. I hate the darn lever. it sucks

That lever can be quite nasty. One account it only cost me 7k to get the avatar, on another I would have paid well in excess of 200k to get the avatar and I didn't get any random events during that time either, bah! It's oh so random!

I try to collect avs, but this one is really buggin me. I pull it about once a day or twice if I feel like it, but that's about it =/

A waste of NP and a way for TNT to decrease inflation.
