They have a board for music, video games, tv, movies, sports. All kinds of hobbies. Except one, COOKING! Now, if thi sis in the wrong place, sorry, but I'm not sure hwere to go since PPT has no suggestion board *hint hint*

So, who thinks they should have a cooking board to share cooking tips, recipes, discussion of food products, ect.?

Meh, I'm indifferent, Boards about cooking seem to pop-up in the Misc Discussion at very irregular intervals - I don't know if the Board would be very active. It might be interesting to see a range of different recipies though.

1. It wouldn't use up too much bandwidth. However, it'd just be an extra board.

2. It's not needed. How often do you see threads about cooking anywhere? Before a board is created, there must be a need for it. It took at least a year before the Library was created.

Yes, but the point I (and Medusa) was trying to make is that currently, there doesn't seem to be enough interest to justify the creation of the board.

Of course, this is just my opinion, as I'm not a staff member.

And there is a board for these kind of topics. It's called PPT Discussion & Questions.

Why?
Because not every single hobby deserves their own board. There havn't been all that many cooking discussions on the site, so I see no point in having a cooking board. Most of the boards we have cover a very broad section of topics, or at least a very popular one (Such as anime, which can be argued to be very broad since there's so much of it).

If you want to talk about cooking, or share recipes, or tips, or any such thing. Make a thread in Misc. Disc. We don't need a seperate board just for cooking. It wouldn't be an active enough topic to require a seperate board.

I don't think so, for the many of the reasons stated above (including Jade's, if you will). I don't think it would be very active, and there has to be a need before a board is created. I just don't think it'd work out... sorry.
